Mina's POV

Standing beside him with my head leaning on his shoulder as the train ride went quietly and his silence soothes me in an unexplainable way. "I keep doubting about my retirement, Minari." He suddenly called out of nowhere. "Am I attached to my own career?" His voice said low and I looked up at his face to found him looking at me as well. It's okay to be selfish, Ren. You deserved it. I smiled at him with the thought in mind and moved my hand to cup his face, rubbing his face gently with my thumb. "Do you not want to make your fans disappointed with your retirement ja-gi?" I asked him softly and he nodded immediately at my question. "But do you want to continue your acting Ren?" This time he waved and nodded his head.

"I want to be by your side, Minari. And at the same time, I don't want to disappoint my audience." I get what he meant by that and moved my hand caressing his hair down to his nape. Sometimes he's just too selfless. "Then what do you wanted to do more if you had to choose ja-gi?" I asked him and his lips immediately curled back making a slight pout. "I wanted to stay with you more than acting, Minari." He answered as I felt his hand pulling me closer to him. "Then do what your heart says, Ren. If you're happy I am happy too." I planted a small kiss on his cheek and the train stopped at our destination. We walked outside as the car door slides open. We took the bullet train to go back to Hakodate and after arriving, we immediately went our way towards Hinami's house.

Your POV

We are now back in Korea and today I am in JYPE building discussing my contract with JYP's daughter. "You don't want to re-sign the contract, Ren?" I nodded at her question. I had explained the reason why I wanted to resign as an actor and I hope she understands my reason for it. "Well if you don't want to continue acting, I can't force you, can I?" She replied with a rhetorical question.  I didn't reply to it and she immediately put out a paper statement for my retirement. "Just sign here for the official release of you out off the agency. It's been nice to have you as our best actor." She handed me a pen while she pointed at where I supposed to be signing but before that. I read the contents of the statement. After checking it, I immediately signed and looked over at JYP's daughter offering me a handshake.

"I hope you live a good life, Ren. My father respected you so much." I took her handshake and nodded politely, "you don't have to be formal like that, Ren. Just like with my father. Treat me as if I'm your niece instead." She smiled and I chuckled at the same request that her father asked me a long time ago. "Joh-a, I'll do that then," I replied casually and she immediately laughed at my sudden casual reply. Once again I paid my goodbyes to the company and started to walk outside, "Ren, come visit my father once in a while, would you? He wanted to see you once in a while." I nodded at her request and turned back to walk outside of the room then out of the building.

Outside I met manager Lee and somehow the tensions felt a little bit sad and gloomy. "I'll be missing you, Ren." Manager Lee spread out her arms inviting a hug. I hugged her, my mother, and pulled away with her hands moved to cup my face. "Oh- look at you. You've been successful and now you're going to live your life with your beautiful family." She softly smiled at me and I chuckled to her motherly affection, "don't you dare to skip meals again okay, Ren. Or your wife will worry about your health." I laughed lightly at her and "of course eomma. I will make sure that she's happy." I assured her and we hugged once more before pulling away again to went on our own paths. I walked to the side of the streets and called my car over tapping my phone's screen.

The news has been talking about my retirement since then while today I'm at home with Mina and Shion. I keep wanting a normal parent life with Mina, taking care of Shion together with me being enchanted by her beauty all day. I keep missing her when I go to work so I've committed to stay home with her and just do some day trading to still earn some money. Well mostly lilly's the one doing the day trading and I'm just monitoring the cash flow. Right now, I'm cooking with Mina just like the old days. I glanced at her putting a spoon to her mouth giving a taste of her cooking. Her face scrunched as an immediate response to what I think how spicy the food turned out to be. "Is it too spicy ja-gi?" As I'm walking towards her cooking some curry inside the pot. She nodded at my question and "oh my, I think I put a little bit too much spice on this." I laughed softly to her cute reaction as I helped her to fix her cooking. Mina put out a spoon for another taste and her face lit up signing that it's perfectly fine now.
