Kenney's POVOkay, that's settled. Now, how do I do this. I thought myself after sending the package I've prepared to Ren's safehouse. Inside I packed bunch of clothing, some computer chipset, and also his lost treasure. The weapon that he's famous of. I found it when I'm hacking and found some database of Ren's late partner, marcus.
He's a great hacker, i must say, he's far better than me. Somehow, i just can't feel myself replacing him. His work and things that they've achieved together as a duo is more than just world records. I was one of their fans. I acknowledge them so much until i found myself learning his arts. But never in my mind, I could ever surpass the best duo of all times.
Anyway, I've found his signature weapon which he got from Artyom. Artyom Belinsky a Russian mercenary specialized in assassination and a former Russian marines. The man who taught him marksmanship, martial arts and how to kill an opponent without hesitation with or without a weapon. This man is no joke to be mess with. I thought as I remembered all the years I had fanboying the man I later became partner with.
I doubted he would remember him as his current state, heck he didn't even remember Hinami. Now, how do i do this. I thought of how to solve this matter by myself. Damien used to be a good kid with high willpower. His optimistic traits always lightens the situation we were in. I never thought he would turn out like this.
Last time I traced him, he was located in France. I suppose as the leader of the most feared black hat creeds, he's doing a very good job at it. I chuckled to my own thoughts feeling proud of my little brother's achievements in life. France, huh, France. Should i join forces with Blume? I thought as it follows with a light wave shrugging the idea away.
Hinami appeared in my screen as flinched to her surprise forcing a video call to my mainframe. "Yo, Kenney." I hummed to her greeting. "What's with the sad expression." She noticed. "Oh-uh... nothing. I've been thinking a lot lately." I said evading the topic she proposed. Before she could continue the topic i said "what do you think about these to countries, France or Russia?"
She hummed with a pout thinking which of it was better. Just thinking about these two countries, you sure took your time. I thought as i chuckled which then brought her attention. "I think Russia, yeah, Russia. I've always wanted to meet Ren's mentor there." She answered, "you know the famous Russian mercenary who's a former special elite marine forces." She added
I nodded to her answer that brought a silver lining to my problem. "Arigatou, Hinami. I think Russia is a good idea." I replied, "do you mind telling me why did you ask such question?" She asked. "Nandemonai, just thinking to go on a vacation. You know i think I've earned it in a way or two." I replied lying to her question. Surprisingly she took it very well and she wished for me to have a great vacation then ended the call.
My workspace turned silent as the video call ended and i start to pack for Russia. I noted to meet Artyom Berinsky as soon as I arrived there. I typed in my computer hacking ctos to register my name on a flight to Russia. Luckily, I got away with the nearest schedule which took flight 2 hours away. I grabbed my stuff knowing that I didn't bring much with me and I took the train to Narita International.
On the train station, i looked to the schedule board and, the next train comes in 5 minutes, i thought which i can consider myself lucky due to the tight schedule I was in trying to to catch a plane for Russia. The train ride took around 15 minutes which then I took a walk continuing my way to Narita international. 30 minutes later, I arrived and went immediately to the gates I suppose to take for the flight.
