Happy Birthday Ren

Mina's POV

We are now lying in bed facing against each other, "Shion had a really great day today." He said while brushing my hair to the side. "Have i done a great job as her father?" He wondered as i kept my eyes on his smile. I didn't say anything while keeping my eyes on his grey eyes with his hand still brushing my hair. I stared at his warming smile quite long until he decided to get close and wrapped me in his arms. He put my head on his chest making me comfortable within his arms. Ren we've made it haven't we? Seven years and we are still counting. I snuggled in my head more into his chest then i called for his name. He hummed, "let's stay like this for the rest of our life." I faintly said it but just enough for him to hear it. "Arrasseo." He hummed.

"Minari, i was thinking about your idea years ago." I pulled away slightly then looked at his face. "About that opening a japanese diner here in Korea." I chuckled and curved a smile, "ne... what about it?" I put my palm on his cheek, rubbing it with my thumb. "I think with all the money we have now and how easy i can acquire it with hacking." He rolled his tone and i know where this is going for. "I wanted to spend my time more with you. So maybe, can we do that instead. I also wanted some space from the media." My guess was right. I think he's exhausted from being an actor.

"But i feel bad for my fans and everyone that have rooted for my acting career if i ever stop being an actor." His face becomes apologetic, "i think if your fans were the one listening to you right now, they would let you do whatever you want." I caressed his face with the back of my hand. "Besides, you don't have to take all the offers immediately like that Ren. You know that already didn't you?" My tone pitched at the end and he nodded like a kid. "I think you're just overworking yourself. Come on let's get to sleep." He nodded and pulled me closer for us to sleep in our current position.

The next morning, I found Ren had already gone out of bed. I got up, washed myself and went outside of the room to find him cooking with Shion. "Too-san what are we making today?" As i walked nearing them in the kitchen. "We are going to make tamagoyaki, Shion-chan." Shion is looking at her father cooking with a step ladder. I arrived in the kitchen and slowly wrapping my arms around his waist, hugging him from behind. "Ohayou, Ren." He hummed, "ohayoumo, penguin."

"How's your sleep?" I hummed, "I've made your tea over there." He pointed to a mug, "arigatouna, Ren." I set my chin on his shoulder as he nodded to my thanks. "So what are we eating for breakfast?" He turned his head to look at me resting my head on his shoulder. "Tamagoyaki." He tossed flipping the egg, "too-san, that was cool. Do that again." He did as Shion asked, toss flipping the egg. I chuckled softly to his show off, "Minari, tonight I've booked a table at Momo's restaurant for a dinner date." I kissed him, "may i help?"

"It's okay, i can handle this." He glanced at me with a smile then i head for the mug that Ren pointed earlier. I sipped from the mug and Ren just finished his cooking, plating the egg. Shion climbed to the tall chair with the help of a step ladder to sit beside me and Ren next to my left. "Kaa-san I heard from too-san that Sana oba-san is coming over." I looked over to Ren and he nodded. "Sana called me earlier. She said she wanted to visit Shion and you. She missed you." He smiled, "I wonder how is she." Ren chuckled to my wondering, "do you want me to schedule a reunion? you know, maybe Twice can perform again." He smirked while nudging me. "You missed it too huh?" I teased him back. "I would be lying if i say no." He shrugged with a slight frown.

"i missed my penguin's smile on stage." He kissed after i sipped my tea. I smiled after he pulled away and lilly suddenly popped a notice that someone is knocking at the door. "I think that's Sana." He chuckled replying. We told lilly to let her in and not long after the steel door slides open with Sana in white high neck sweater and a high waist cream ankle pants. Our gaze met as she ran immediately towards the kitchen with her heels tapping, matching with her footsteps. "Mina-yah, I've missed you much." She ran around the counter and hugged me. Her hair was cut medium length and she seems to paint her hair into garnet red. "i see that you colored your hair." She pulled away to see my face. "How's your acting lately?" She flattened her lips to the side then noticed Shion was just beside her.
