Chapter 11

Franki's POV

Dumaan ang days, focus lang sa story naman ng parents nina Dianne at Francheska out of town preparing everything for their wedding na mangyayari na next week kaya nagkaroon kami vacant, pero last minute sinabi ni Direk na may Pres con pala.

Marami na silang natanong samin na mostly about sa movie, syempre sobrang ingat namin sa mga isasagot gaya nang hindi pagsabi sa media na binago ang title ng movie compared sa title ng book.

"So what are the changes na aabangan namin sa movie na wala sa book?." Tanong nung isa.

"Well, there's a lot of it actually. Nabasa ko yung book, and talking to Miss Mae about it, marami talaga syang binago. One of it is that our characters ni Franki should meet closer to the day of our parents' wedding. Pero in the movie, extended ang moments na magkakasama pa kami to get to know each other more." Paliwanag ni D.

"And spoilers lang, Dianne played by Diana breaks up with Kyle or Sky." Dagdag ko.

"Why is that?. I mean in the book, they had a perfect love story." Tanong nung isa.

"That's something you should watch for."

"Hmm interesting. Here, about lang sa tandem nyo as Frankiana. We all knew your commercial together is a success and is still airing now. You were lovers there. Isn't it weird that your roles now is about sisterhood?." One asked, she's stereotypically gay. I mean basta. Short hair, rainbow accessories, wearing a shirt which the word Pride is printed.

Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Diana with a giggle.

"At first it is, but you'd get it sooner why this movie is better than the book itself." Sabi ni D.

"So when are you gonna release the trailer?." The girl asks again.

"Direk said probably next month. Since we really have a lot of things and scenes to work on." Dagdag ko.

"My question is for Sky blablabla."

Isang oras lang natapos agad ang pres con.

Kumain kami ng lunch, just the three of us. Sky, D and I.

"Balik taping na naman bukas, haaayst." Sabi ni Sky.

"Sinabi mo pa, diba bukas yung icoconfront kita na I'm inlove with Franki-Francheska?." Lusot ni D.

Butterflies butterflies,ooh those lil' butterflies inside me's going wild and wilder. Another restricted kilig here. Okay, yumuko ka nalang Franki. Hide that stupid smile she gave.

"Ah yeah. School scenes. Tapos I think, kay Franki--she's gonna talk with her friends. The mean girls, kasi Franki or Francheska haven't told them that you're gonna be stepsisters anytime soon. Right Franki?." Sagot ni Sky.

"Yup. I've read the script."

"By the way Franki, I'm wondering if you're free tonight. I-I just wanna talk to you about something--" dugdugdug. Diana naman eh. Ano na namang plano mo?. I swear, ginugulo mo talaga ang isip at puso ko. Don't act like this if you're straight kasi it gives me the wrong idea.

Franki, magpigil ka.

"Kasi Diana--may lakad kasi kami ni Jamie ngayong gabi so--" pagsisinungaling ko. But Diana's just staring at me, kaya pinipilit kong lumihis nang tingin.

"Ganun ba?. I understand. Next time nalang siguro--" sabi nalang nito.

Kinagabihan.

Nanood ako ng tv sa sala while I'm on the phone with Jamie.

Bakit mo naman sinabi yun?. Sinali mo pako, gaga ka talaga.

I don't know Jamie. Basta lately, may kakaiba nakong nararamdaman. Nakakatakot--

Ayan na nga bang sinasabi ko eh--bumigay narin sa wakas. Bakit mo kasi pinipigilan?.

Because as far as I know, I'm not gay. I've never liked any girl before not until Diana came in the picture. Jamieee help me, I'm so confused.

You like her or even falling for her, so what?.

Diana's straight Jamie. And I think she's starting to like Sky. I can't help it, she's all that I think about. Everything about her, her voice, her touch--I can't get enough of it, my body feels like it's craving more of her.

Lust: Committed. Anong susunod na kasalanan na naman? Haha.

Oo na. Eh ano ba talagang plano mo?.

I don't know. I couldn't even think straight.

Right right. No to labels. What I'm just saying is nasasayo naman yan eh kung gugustuhin mong sabihin sa kanya or just keep it within yourself.

Pano pag sinabi ko sa kanya layuan nya ko, pandirian.

Natahimik nalang ako, sht. Di parin pala nya alam.

Frankiii. Gaga ka. Did you actually lost your vcard by D?!. Wuy sumagot ka!. Tngna, kaya pala ganun ka makasigaw--

I really don't wanna talk about it Jamie--it was a mistake. She said she forgot about the tape and basta nangyari nalang--

Dingdong.

Nagmadali nakong pumunta sa harap at nagulat ako nang makita si Diana. Oh my goodness gracious. The devil offered me this temptation again. Fck.

Napanganga nalang ako sa gulat,

"Surprise Liar." She sexily said with a smirk. Tumingin tingin naman ako sa paligid kung may tao ba sa paligid, hinila ko nalang sya ng dire-diretso papasok.

"Ano bang ginagawa mo dito?." Tanong ko.

"Why did you lie to me?."

"I just have to." Pasok ko sa bahay. Ni lock nya naman ang pinto.

"Why?." She said staring directly to my eyes, with her lips centimeters closer to mine.

"Kasi kailangan kitang iwasan--"

"Why would you even dare do that?."

"Wala. Just-just forget about it. It doesn't matter anyway. Ano ba talagang kailangan mo?." I said sitting back on the couch. Tumabi naman sya facing at me.

"Gusto kong pormal na mag-apologize sayo about the whole sex thing. I know that's just terrible. Pero tayo lang naman may alam eh, kaya let's just keep it between us. And another thing is--"

"Another thing is what?."

"Franki, I just realized this recently and it's bothering so much. I-I like you. I really do. I know it's weird and masyadong mabilis. Pero it's what I feel, I couldn't help it. And I want you to know that whatever happens, even if you don't feel the same way--I don't want us to change. Don't worry, I'm not really expecting of being in a relationship with you. I want us to be friends and to know you more." Then she suddenly kissed me and run away like a scaredy cat. What a coward.

I was stunned, still not able to process everything that happened a moment ago. Did she really really confessed that she likes me?. I tried slapping myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. But it's real! It's freaking real!.
