(Duel Monsters has changed over the many years since it was first introduced. Due to the various summoning mechanics introduced over the course of time, legends have been made and new eras of duelists continue to come and aim to be the very best)

(To help celebrate a new era of dueling, an online dueling server, "Duel Monsters Interspace" was formed. Here, duelists from all around the world could come and be able to polish up on their skills, duel to become the strongest or just to have a good time. This place is where our story begins)

(The time is evening, around 6:00 P.M. Duelists are out having a good time. However, out of site from nearby crowds of people, at the bottom of the stairs leading down to a dueling spot.....a kid has just been knocked down to the ground)

Young kid: Please......please stop.....you already defeated me.

Older Duelist: No....not until you hand over your rarest card.

Young kid: I never agreed to an Ante. Just leave me alone!

Older Duelist: What's wrong? You gonna go cry to mommy? Hand over your rarest card and make it quick!

Young kid: Please.....just stop.

(The older duelist picks up the kid)

Older Duelist: I said.....hand over.......your rarest card. Or else, I'm gonna take it from you by force!

Young kid: No!

Older Duelist: Hand your card over......now!

Voice: He said no. Now back off.

(The older duelist turns around. An unknown figure in a dark green hoodie with white sleeves, dark blue pants and black and white tennis shoes, is standing on the stairs and proceeds to walk down them. The figures eyes and hair are covered by the hoodie)

Older Duelist: Get lost punk, this doesn't concern you.

Unknown Figure: Since I was passing by, it does concern me. (The figure stops) After all, duelists like you give Duel Monsters Interspace a bad name. It'd be ashame if someone reported this to the higher-ups of the servers.

Older Duelist: Why you little......

(The older duelist drops the kid down. The kid gets up and gets away from the older duelist, running up to the figure)

Young kid: Tha....Thank you Mr.

Unknown Figure: It's best you log out kid. Let me handle this.

Young kid: O....Ok.....thanks again. (The young kid logs out. The unknown figure smiles, then looks back at the bully who started it all)

Bully: You have no idea who you're messing with! Make 1 move with your legs and you'll be sorry.

Unknown Figure: I don't need to move with my legs, I just need to fight with my cards. (The unknown figure pulls a Duel Disk out of his pocket and straps it to his arm. The Duel Disk itself is shaped like a circle and has an opened slot for the Deck to be placed in. The Duel Disk is also labeled with 6 different lines connected to a light blue orb. Each line covers parts of the outlined part of the Duel Disk, which is a black circle with a dark blue side. Each of the lines are colored differently individually: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Light Green and Pink)

Bully: Is this some kind of joke? That duel disk you have may have some nice textures on it, but it's completely outdated. As for mine, mine is state of the art and up to date. If you haven't updated your Duel Disk, you're not going to be much of a challenge. That's a fact. (The Bully's Duel Disk resembles that of a wristband)
