Episode 16: The Search For Answers Part 1

(After an ambush by Techisk's bounty hunters sent by newly hired security manager "Calvin", Jace got help from his siblings, Carly and Kyle, whom were both victorious in their duels. Then, as Jace was about to begin his duel with the lead bounty hunter, Hunter Renegade showed up and now stares Jace down as they speed through Duel Monsters Interspace. Just what is this ruthless hunter of the Duelists of Gameshade planning?)

(Jace and Hunter Renegade race through the servers) 

Jace: What do you want with me Hunter Renegade? 

(Hunter Renegade turns towards Jace)

Hunter Renegade: Simple. I don't want Techisk interfering with the Duelists of Gameshade, (Hunter Renegade holds up his six shooter) so I disposed of that foolish lead bounty hunter. 

Jace: Duelists of Gameshade? Great....now I'm in more trouble. 

Hunter Renegade: Normally I'd show no mercy towards you being the Duelist of Gameshade's best bounty hunter. However, I'm willing to give you a chance to prove your worth to me and the rest of the Duelists of Gameshade. (Hunter Renegade points his six shooter at Jace) As long as you're willing to comply, I won't terminate you here and now. It's your choice. 

Jace: (Hesitant) What do you want me to do?

Hunter Renegade: I'm going to give you to the count of 3. (Hunter Renegade points at Jace and holds up 3 fingers) You have the choice to either try and run away from me and be at high risk of being terminated or you can duel me and get the answers you seek about that mysterious orb you've been seeing inside you lately. 

Jace: (Surprised) What? How do you know about that?

Hunter Renegade: I have my ways. So, what will it be? You have 3 seconds before I blast you.

(Jace says nothing)

Hunter Renegade: (Counting down) 3.....2......

Jace: Okay stop. (Hunter Renegade stops counting) My choice is clear from the start. I'll duel you, but you better keep true to your word. 

(Hunter Renegade puts his six shooter down)

Hunter Renegade: I wouldn't expect anything less from you. However, I am willing to comply. 

(Jace begins to think)

Jace: (In his mind) The Duelists of Gameshade can't be trusted, even if they make a deal. I have to play things safe, and since this guy is a bounty hunter, then this won't be easy. 

Hunter Renegade: However, I want to make sure there are truly no distractions, so follow me, and don't bother running. 

(Hunter Renegade speeds ahead. Jace, although hesistant about all this, follows him. The two speed through Duel Monsters Interspace and soon speed into the wooded area outskirts of the city through various vast opening clearings of the woods. Jace looks around) 

Jace: The outskirts? 

Hunter Renegade: (Turning his head) Like a lone wolf with no pack, you must fight on your own to survive. Consistent possible danger, keeping your guard up, you'll have to use them in this duel.

Jace: So be it then.

(Hunter Renegade turns his entire body around)

Hunter Renegade: Let us begin. (Hunter Renegade holds up his Duel Disk) There's no turning back now.
