Episode 10: Admitted Truth

(It's nighttime in Trigrande City. Everyone is going home for the day and finishing up what they need to do. Not far from the Trigrande City High School, is a bridge known to locals as the "Trigrande City Arc Bridge", which most of it collapsed years ago and plans to rebuild it were delayed over and over again. The sky is filled with clouds and standing on the old Trigrande City Arc Bridge is Jace. He breathes a sigh. Then, he hears someone walking up to him. It's hard to see at first, but then the person is revealed to be Amy)

Amy: Jace? What's going on? Why'd you call me here at this time of night?

Jace: (Turning towards Amy) I called you here Amy, because, it's important we have a talk.

Amy: About what?

(Jace turns away, then inhales and exhales a deep breath)

Jace: About Spencer, your brother. (Jace closes his eyes) I'm sorry but, your never going to see him again.

Amy: What? This must be some kind of lie.

Jace: I'm not lying.

Amy: You must be joking.

(Jace turns to Amy)

Jace: If I was joking then I wouldn't have asked you to come here. I'm being dead serious.

(Amy clinches her fist angrily)

Amy: I don't believe you.

Jace: Gosh darn it Amy! Your brother is gone! I witnessed it myself inside Duel Monsters Interspace, and a Techisk Jet ended up crashing into the ground as result!

Amy: I can't believe this, you brought me here because you wanted to tell me that? Your sick!

Jace: I speak the truth. A Duelist of Gameshade attacked me and your brother inside the servers and.....

Amy: (Angrily) Just stop talking, I don't want to hear anything out of your mouth anymore! My brother is still alive, he would've let me know if something was going to happen to him.

Jace: Amy, please, stop being in denial. Spencer told me to come and find you some way, somehow so I could talk to you. He asked me.....

Amy: (Angrily shouting) Stop it Jace! Just stop! I don't want to hear these lies anymore!!!

(Just then, Amy's phone begins to ring)

Amy: (Angrily) Wait one minute, I've got to take this. When I'm done with this phone call, I'm seeing myself out to get away from you.

Jace: Amy....

(Amy turns away from Jace, picks up her phone and answers it)

Amy: Hello?

(The other person on the line begins to talk to Amy)

Amy: Yes, this is her. (Amy listens) What? (Amy becomes worried) No, no your lying, it can't be true. (Amy continues to listen) I don't believe you, it can't be him! (Amy continues to listen) No, this must be a lie.

(The person on the other line continues to talk to Amy and then Amy's eyes widen with worry. Then, the caller on the other end hangs up. Amy drops her phone)

Jace: Amy?

Amy: You....you were right.

Jace: What?

Amy: You were....(Amy sniffs sadly)....right. That was one of Techisk's higher-ups of the security department. They....found....(Amy sniffs again sadly)....they found my brother.
