Episode 14: Redemption

(At the Techisk HQ Building, a small conference meeting is being held on one of the top floors. Mainly, the top floor where Spencer Angeliss used to work)

Female Higher Up: Everyone, as you all know, Spencer has been unsucussful in his mission. We've not heard back from him for quite some time.

Male Higher Up: And that is why we have taken it upon ourselves to find someone more suited for Spencer's job as Security Manager of Techisk.

Higher Up #2: And who might that be sir?

Male Higher Up: Through extensive research and deep digging, it has been decided that "Calvin" will be taking over Spencer's current role.

Male Higher Up #2: Can he be trusted though to get the job done though sir? Calvin is quite a stubborn one.

Male Higher Up: While that's true, it's clear that he's loyal to Techisk, and we can't afford to take any chances to keep Duel Monsters Interspace safe.

(In Spencer's old office, Calvin, a man with a white business suit and black shoes, looks over everything and sits in Spencer's chair)

Calvin: This office, this space, it's all mine. (Calvin's eyes show signs of greed) Now that I'm the one calling the shots, The Duelists of Gameshade will fall and once everyone hears I'm the one who's done it, I'll recieve a promotion beyond my wildest dreams. No more living with my parents, no more being told what to do, I'll be the one in charge of even Techisk's most elite, and I'll rule with superior authority!! And also, I have another order of business that must be addressed.

(Calvin laughes, while staff outside the office look at each other, wondering how they'll handle and deal with the new security manager of Techisk)

(Meanwhile, else in Trigrande City, the scene switches over to Jace, Carly and Spencer's apartment. Amy is seen in the kitchen, making breakfast and has plates set up on the table. Carly soon appears, walking out of her room)

Carly: (Yawning) Morning. (Carly then sees the table) Huh? Wha...what's all this?

Amy: (Turning to Carly) You don't mind do you?

Carly: Uh......(As Carly tries to figure out what to say)

Kyle: (Running out past Carly) Oooo, I smell bacon!

Carly: Hey watch it Kyle! Sheesh. (Carly walks up to the table and sits down)

Amy: (Laughing) Easy now, there's plenty of breakfast to go around for everyone.

Carly: (With an uneasy look) Amy, I get that Jace is letting you crash with us, butttttt (Carly puts her hands behind her head) it's not working for me.

Kyle: Carly.

Carly: What? It's true.

Amy: (Smiling and being calm) Well I ain't really going anywhere Carly. (Amy keeps cooking) I can't go back home, I'd just end up on the streets or something, so I saw to it that I'd take Jace up on his offer.

Carly: (Groaning) Just great.

(Kyle laughes)

Kyle: Easy now Carly.

Amy: Speaking of Jace, is he coming out?

Kyle: Nah, he takes his sweet time coming out. It's best you don't disturb him.

Carly: Yeah. (Carly turns on the TV) Best to just roll on with it.

TV Anchor: (On TV) In other news for the top of the hour, Duel Monsters Interspace Dueling superstar, "Maskedina", has been rumored to be having her pro dueling career falling flat to the ground and is done and over with.
