Episode 41: Back In Dueling Action

(A full six months have passed since The Duelists Of Gameshade were defeated. Following the attack, Techisk have successfully regained full control of Duel Monsters Interspace, repaired most of the damage to the server caused as a result of what happened, and have begun work on making sure an event like The Duelist Of Gameshade's attack doesn't happen again. As a result, Techisk have begun working on drastically increasing security to parts of the server. Anyone who breaks the rules receive certain punishments, the severest one being having their accounts permanently banned, and the former users are unable to create new accounts. This has resulted in a large portion of Duel Monsters Interspace users to listen to Techisk's rules and regulations, resulting in fewer rulebreakers making an appearance, as they do not dare to take such a gamble anymore. The Duelist Of Gameshade tower still remains in the center of Duel Monsters Interspace, but over the past six months, Techisk have been hard at work working on destroying it entirely. Some progress has been made, but not much. After the defeat of the leader of the Duelists Of Gameshade, Trapper, the top of the tower has been closed off by a metal dome, and has remained inaccessible inside and outside, preventing anyone from getting to the tower's old main controls at the top of the tower which could have finally destroyed the whole thing if activated)

(Things in the real world are improving as well. Inside the control room at Techisk, Techisk workers are hard at work)

Worker #1: Steady number of logins, increasing by 20% 

Worker #2: Security measures in Section C increased. 

(Someone then enters the room. It's Spencer Angeliss)

Spencer: Current report on Duel Monsters Interspace.

Worker #3: Everything is in good working order Spencer sir!

Spencer: Update on the expansion project.

Worker #4: It continues to proceed according to plan. 

(Spencer nods)

Spencer: That's good. 

(Someone enters the room behind Spencer. It's one of the secretary's on duty at Techisk)

Secretary: Mr. Angeliss, the higher ups are giving such strong and kind words about the recent changes and the development of more to come. They are very pleased with you and thank you for everything you are doing to make Duel Monsters Interspace regain its former glory. 

Spencer: I'm the one who should be thanking the higher ups. I'm surprised that they would give me my old job back. 

Secretary: Well, Mr. Calvin failed to do even the simplest tasks following what happened in Duel Monsters Interspace six months ago. Hence why he's now stuck on janitor duty. Should he make a bad move towards you, he'll be fired immediately. 

(Spencer smiles a little, then adjusts his tie and gets a serious look)

Spencer: (Turning towards the secretary) Are the arrangements for my special guest ready?

Secretary: (Nodding) Yes sir. The limousine is on its way to pick her up from Techisk High School, and then it will head here immediately. 

Spencer: Good. This guest is too be treated right and with the upmost respect. Make sure the driver gets her here safe and sound. 

Secretary: Absolutely Spencer sir. 

(The secretary leaves. Spencer then looks back at all the Techisk workers working hard. Out of sight, Spencer clinches his hand. He then lowers his head slightly and closes his eyes)
