Jace also has 1 set card in his Spell/Trap Zone and 4 cards in his hand. Viper has 2550 LP, and controls "Viciousvipe Vraskqueen Vennominaga" in the Extra Monster Zone, with its upper left Link Arrow pointing towards "Hearing Tracker". Viper also has no monsters in his Main Monster Zones, has "Viciousvipe Nesting Grounds" face-up in his Spell/Trap Zone (negated by the effect of Jace's "Code-Fu! Technique" from the previous episode), nocards in his hand and has the Field Spell, "Viciousvipe Breeding Grounds" face-up)
Jace: (In his mind) If I'm going to beat Viper, I've got to get a monster in the Extra Monster Zone, otherwise Vennominaga's Special Ability will just weaken all my monsters ATK to 0 and I'll keep taking damage. If I'm going to pull this off, I have to trust my Deck.
Viper: (In his mind) That kid better not take too long, but thanks to Vennominaga, any monster he plays in the Main Monssssster Zone will have 0 ATK and have their Ssssspecial abilities negated, not to mention they can't attack. Plus, if thissssss slow pace keeps up, then things will get interesting. After all, my plan hasssssss already taken effect for the jet.
(Jace leaves his thought process)
