Episode 46: Dueling In Style

(The Duel Monsters Interspace Championships are underway. The first of the duels was Beta Brawl VS. Jango Salvo. In a twist of events, Beta Brawl pulled a come from behind victory in just 1 turn. However, the aftermath of the duel has left almost everyone in the stadium in utter shock, as Jango Salvo spit out blood and collapsed in front of everyone)

(Medical officials are evacuating Jango Salvo out of the stadium. Spectators are in shock, and many have chosen to leave their seats, as the sight of what happened to Jango was too horrific)

(Amy is horrified)

Maskedina: There's no way Jango's alive....that was....that was.....

Jace: Horrific? 

Maskedina: Yes, horrific. 

(Just then, a giant projection appears in the center of the dueling stadium. The projection shows someone familiar) 

Spencer: Greetings everyone.

Jace: It's Spencer. 

(Amy pulls herself together, and she looks at Jace)

Maskedina: He's looking over the entire tournament to make sure everything goes well without any kind of trouble. (Amy looks back at her brother on the screen) That, and I think he's looking to make sure I don't get into any kind of danger. 

(Spencer's projection replicates each of Spencer's actions as he talks to everyone in the stadium)

Spencer: I want all of you to please remain calm. What has just happened to Jango Salvo in this first tournament duel is without a doubt, very tragic. While we can't confirm if he'll be fully okay, what I can confirm is that Techisk is not responsible for this incident. 

(Spencer closes his eyes)

Spencer: As many of you know, Techisk failed against the Duelist Of Gameshade. Or at the very least, those in power of Techisk at the time of their attack failed against the Duelist Of Gameshade. With some help, Duel Monsters Interspace was saved through the brave efforts of the duelists who took them head on. 

(Spencer opens his eyes)

Spencer: And now that I am back in charge of Techisk's Duel Monsters Interspace security forces, I've been doing all that I can to make sure that nothing like before with the awful group will be repeated, and the last six months are ultimately, strong proof of that. Under my command, no risks and chances will be taken going forward. Starting now, Beta Brawl will be surveilled 24/7 for the remainder of the tournament by our security, and the tournament will proceed to the next round: Maskedina Vs Lucy! Good luck to all of our remaining participants and thank you once again to all. 

(Spencer's hologram vanishes from the stadium)

(Spencer's message plays in the minds in the spectators, many seem reassured, others not so much)

Maskedina: Spencer...

Jace: You should focus on your upcoming duel.

(Amy looks at Jace)

Maskedina: Yeah, you're right. What about Beta Brawl?

Jace: We should leave that topic be for now.

Maskedina: Alright. Well, wish me luck.

(Amy smiles)

Maskedina: Lucy's not going to be easy to defeat.

(Jace smiles)

Jace: You can do it. 

(Amy nods and leaves to get ready for her upcoming duel)
