Episode 28: Battle Breaker Part 1

(As the battle between Jace and the allies against the Duelist Of Gameshade continues, things continue to take different turns without warning)

(Somewhere inside the server, Maskedina is making her way towards the center of the server, where the Duelists Of Gameshade are planning to be)

Maskedina: The Duelists Of Gameshade have put me through a lot. They've done so much damage, and now this. Well I'm not going to let whatever they're doing in the end of all this succeed.

(Maskedina thinks back to her discussion earlier with Jace, Carly and Kyle, remembering what Jace said)

Jace: (Flashback) We win or lose together. We fight till the end, and do what we can to save Duel Monsters Interspace. 

(The flashback ends)

Maskedina: I just hope Jace, Carly and Kyle are doing okay too. 

(Maskedina keeps running, unaware of someone nearby watching her. The unknown person smiles)

(Meanwhile, somewhere else in the city, Jace keeps running through city streets, also trying to reach the center of the server)

Jace: I hope Amy, Carly and Kyle are doing alright. I hate to see either of them be in a bad position due to The Duelists Of Gameshade. Same with me. Who knows what those shady goons could try next.

(Jace runs past various buildings, then turns a corner and stops. In front of him is the very same suspension bridge that he dueled Maskedina on a while back)

Jace: The bridge is one of the quickest shortcuts to get to the center of the server. No time to waste.

(Without thinking twice, Jace starts to run across the suspension bridge to reach the center of the server)

Jace: The Duelists Of Gameshade have gone too far with everything they've done. 

(Jace begins to think back to various events)

Jace: They attacked the arena and almost got Carly deleted, they brainwashed Amy during my 1st duel with her, they defeated Spencer and made Amy suffer, almost making her quit dueling, they made me risk my life in every single duel I've participated in against one of their members....

(The flashbacks ends)

Jace: ....And now they've stepped up their game by starting a takeover of Duel Monsters Interspace, putting so many innocent people at risk. This has gone far enough. 

(Jace reaches the middle of the bridge)

Jace: Halfway there. I'll be across the suspension bridge in no time.

Voice: (Above Jace) I don't think so boy. 

(Jace stops running. Someone above him on a D-Board is jumping down. Jace steps back as the person fully lands on the ground, and then stands up without a scratch. It's Trapper, grinning without a care in the world)

Jace: Just my luck...

Trapper: I figured I'd find you here, making it this far towards the center of Duel Monsters Interspace.

(Trapper punches his chest)

Trapper: In case you were curious, the name's Trapper. Nice that we finally meet, boy.

Jace: Move out of my way.

Trapper: I cannot do that. You've been quite the pest in our work boy. You've made it this far in this battle, but I'm afraid your time is up.
