Episode 13: Memories In The Making

(It's another day in Trigrande City. The time is in the afternoon, around 4:00 P.M. and people are out and about. At the apartment where Jace, Kyle and Carly live, the front door opens. Jace is seen in the entrance way, with Amy)

Jace: And, here we are. This is where I live.

(Amy walks through the front door, and she's carrying luggage with her)

Amy: Wow, this is....this is a really nice place you've got here.

Jace: Eh, it's nothing really. (Jace shuts the door and follows Amy into the living room) Guest room's the last room down the hall. Plenty of space in there, so make yourself comfortable.

Amy: (Hesistant) I....I appreciate that you're letting me stay here with you and your siblings.

Jace: Think nothing of it. It's the least I can do. Besides, I'm sure Carly and Kyle won't mind.

Amy: I hope not. (Amy looks away whilist smiling) I don't want them to get the wrong idea you know?

(Jace smiles)

Jace: You get yourself settled in. Want me to get you a drink or something to eat?

Amy: (Smiling) I'm good.

Jace: Alright. Just call if you need anything. (Jace walks toward his room) Oh, and....don't worry, your secret's safe with me.

(Jace walks into his room and closes the door. Amy smiles and she begins to think)

Amy: (To herself) Jace is such a nice guy, helping me out through tough times like this, letting me stay with him, keeping my identity as Maskedina a secret and helping me find closure thanks to my brother. I hope one day I can repay him back for all the good deeds he's done for me.

(Later that evening, Jace is eating with Carly and Kyle. Amy isn't with them)

Carly: So Jace, where's your girlfriend?

Jace: Carly!

Kyle: That's enough little sis. Show some respect.

(Putting her hands on her head and leaning back, Carly smiles)

Carly: What? Can't I have a good time?

Kyle: Yes, and I'm sure you can later. (Kyle takes a bite of his dinner) Right now, consider making yourself comfortable. With Jace's friend living here now with her brother out of the picture, I suggest you cut your silly ways.

Carly: Whatever. (Carly looks away)

(Just then, footsteps are heard. The three siblings turn and see Amy walking out)

Carly: Hey look who it is. It's....

Amy: (Interrupting) Would it be alright if I could talk to Jace alone you two? It's kind of important.

Kyle: Oh....um, sure Ms. Angeliss. Carly let's go.

Carly: But I'm not done eating.

Kyle: We'll finish later. Let's give these two some space.

(Kyle leads Carly away. Amy watches them and smiles. Then, she takes a seat next to Jace)

Jace: Sorry you had to see that.

Amy: It's fine. Anyways, I was hoping I could talk to you about something.

Jace: About?
