(Inside Duel Monsters Interspace, Jace has just begun a Speed Duel with Duel Monsters pro duelist, Beta Brawl. Both players stand at 4000 LP and are preparing to make the first move)

(On the ground, spectators watch)
Spectator: Beta Brawl is going to dominate the competition.
Spectator #2: He's going to knock that kid into next week.
Beta Brawl: The fans love it when I turn up the heat, now prepare yourself for a duel you'll never forget.
Jace: In that case, I might as well make things interesting. For this entire duel, I won't use my Skill.
Beta Brawl: It takes guts to make such a move like that. Very well, if you insist. (Beta Brawl looks forward) Now, lets get this match started. My turn! (Beta Brawl displays his starting hand in front of him and he smiles confidently) And I think I'll start with one of my best battlers. I summon out "Upperscorch Powerplay". (1800/900) And then, I activate the Special Ability of the "Upperscorch Tagpartner" in my hand, which lets him tag team with "Powerplay" on my field. (1600/800) And now, Powerplay's Special Ability will come into play! As long as this Normal Summoned card is on my field, all "Upperscorch" monsters gain 300 ATK, including itself. (Powerplay: 1800 - 2100, Tagpartner: 1600 - 1900) That's going to be all for now. I now end my turn.
Jace:(To himself) I'll have to cool down his monsters before my LP get too badly burned, so I better get started by taking out "Powerplay" and "Tagpartner". (Jace leaves his thought process) It's my turn. I Draw! (Jace Draws and looks at his hand) From my hand, I Normal Summon, a personal favorite of mine. Come, "Code Patrol - Accel Chase". (1200/800)
