Episode 4: Under The Mask

(Jace is still walking home. He thinks back to his earlier talk with Amy Angeliss) 

Amy: (Flashback) Every time I do end up going to Duel Monsters Interspace and duel, he finds out some way, some how. Then he says things to me like, "Your my sister and I care about you and your safety" or something like "Duel Monsters Interspace is too dangerous and someone could put you in serious danger".

Jace: (Flashback) Sounds to me like Spencer just cares, just like a brother would. 

(The flashback ends)

Jace: One day.....one day Spencer will understand that Amy is capable of handling herself. I'm sure of it. 

(Jace keeps walking and soon makes it home. Once he does, Carly comes running up to him and is in a panic)

Carly: Jace, Jace!

Jace: Carly, calm down. What's wrong?

Carly: It's....It's......It's awful. It's just awful.

Jace: Carly, calm down. Tell me what's going on.

(Kyle runs up)

Kyle: Dude, there's trouble inside Duel Monsters Interspace. Follow me. (Jace follows Kyle and Carly follows behind. Kyle leads him over to the TV) This just started a few minutes ago before you got home. 

(Jace looks at the TV and sees a reporter live on TV)

Reporter: (On TV) This just in. Duel Monsters Interspace is under attack, but this time it's not from the Duelists of Gameshade. It's from Duel Monsters Interspace's very own "Maskedina'. 

Jace: Did he just say Maskedina?

Reporter: (On TV, showing footage) Maskedina has started ramming duelists on their D-Boards, trying to throw them off and cause serious injury. Nobody knows what's going on or why she's doing this, but we're going live to our Sky Camera to gather more live footage. 

(The video feed cuts to live footage inside Duel Monsters Interspace. The camera with helicopter blades and jets on its back, follows Maskedina from behind and shows her ramming several duelists on their D-Boards)

Carly: The Maskedina I know wouldn't do such a thing. Why is she doing this?

(Jace looks on. Inside Duel Monsters Interspace, Maskedina looks at the camera provided by the Sky Camera. Her eyes look sinister) 

Maskedina: This is a direct challenge to a duelist that I am looking for. This is what he looks like. (Maskedina taps her Duel Disk and an image shows up. Jace gasps)

Jace: That's me!

Kyle: But why would Maskedina want you dude? It's not making sense.

Jace: I don't know, but it's clear something has set her off.

Maskedina: (On the video feed) This duelist must come to Duel Monsters Interspace, for I am challenging him to a Speed Duel! Should he refuse and these duelists will pay! 

(Maskedina turns her face away from the camera and she races through Duel Monsters Interspace on her D-Board)

Kyle: Talk about crazy.

Carly: Hey, watch it Kyle! Maskedina's my idol!

(Jace, ignoring his two siblings, takes off running)

Kyle: Huh? Dude, where are you going?

Jace: Duel Monsters Interspace, where does it look like I'm going? I have to find answers.
