Jace also has 1 set card in his Spell/Trap Zone, controls the Field Spell "Code Patrol Lookout" in his Field Spell Zone, and has 5 cards in his hand, 3 of which are known to be "Code Patrol - Accel Chase, Code Patrol - High Skye and Robo-Code". Phoenix has 500 LP, controls no monsters in the Extra Monster Zone, but he does control "Grandburn Fireblaze" with 5000 ATK in his Main Monster Zone, as well as the Link Spell "Judgement Arrows" in his right Spell/Trap Zone, and has 1 card in his hand. It is currently Phoenix's turn)
Jace: (To himself) I can't believe this guy has got my "Symbol Bond" Skill and is a Cyberse Duelist. Still though, I won't let him defeat me in this Speed Duel. Just, who is this, Phoenix? Is he a new enemy and threat I have to deal with? Or is there something else he's trying to tell me?
Phoenix: (Pointing) Get ready Jace Hubbard. I will end you this turn.
(Phoenix clinches his hand)
Phoenix: And when I win, I will take your 2 "Interfactors".
Jace: I don't know what you want with the "Interfactors", but you are not getting them. I'm ready for whatever you bring my way!
Phoenix: Are you really ready for whatever I have? Let's find out!
(Phoenix points)
Phoenix: Let's battle! "Grandburn Fireblaze", attack "Code Patrol Ryleader".
(Grandburn Fireblaze glows and the flames on its body start to ignite and rage out of control)
Phoenix: Inferno's InnerRage!!
(Grandburn Fireblaze lets out a phoenix's cry and starts diving towards "Code Patrol Ryleader")
Jace: I have to do something.
(Jace extends his own arm forward quick)
Jace: I activate my facedown card!
Phoenix: I won't let you. ("Grandburn Fireblaze" continues its attack) When "Grandburn Fireblaze" has a Link Spell pointing towards it and it battles, my opponent is not allowed to use any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step.
Jace: (Eyes widening) Oh no...
(Back in Techisk Control Room, Amy looks on with worry. Spencer sees this and he grinds his teeth as he looks back at the screen)
Phoenix: Let's also add in the effect of the Link Spell itself, being "Judgement Arrows". (Judgement Arrows shines) Since you are familiar with this card, whenever a Link monster that's next to Judgment Arrow's battles, that monster's ATK points will double during damage calculation.
(Grandburn Fireblaze: 5000 - 10000)
Jace: It has 10,000 ATK.
(Jace closes his eyes and looks away)
Phoenix: This duel is over Jace Hubbard!!!
(Grandburn Fireblaze slams into "Code Patrol Ryleader", surrounding it in a wall of flames, and destroying it a powerful explosion)
Phoenix: It's all over.
(As the smoke clears from the explosion, Jace is still seen with his eyes closed. He says nothing)
(Jace: 4000 LP)
Amy: (Shocked) Jace survived?!
Spencer: (Shocked) But how?
