(The Speed Duel continues from the previous chapter. Wiseman has 600 LP, no monsters on his field, and controls "Dragondulum Of The Fire Crystal" (S: 1) and "Dragondulum Of The Water Crystal" (S: 10) in his Spell and Trap Card Zones. Commander Ghostflame has 3100 LP, controls "Soulsinge Slumbering Knight" and "Soulsinge Scarred Lycanthrope" in his Main Monster Zones, (with "Slumbering Knight's left Link pointing to "Scarred Lycanthrope"). Commander Ghostflame also controls the Link Spell, "Judgment Arrows" and the Continuous Spell Card, "Call Of The Mummy" face-up in his Spell and Trap Card Zones. Both duelists have 1 card in their hand, and it currently Commander Ghostflame's Battle Phase, having just declared an attack with "Scarred Lycanthrope")

Commander Ghostflame: You're finished Wiseman. No Monsters, no Set Cards. You are completely defenseless.

("Scarred Lycanthrope" jumps, then prepares to slash Wiseman)

(Then......)

Wiseman: Don't be so sure.

(Wiseman extends his arm)

Wiseman: I activate Launch Dragon's Special Ability from my GY. Since I'm being attacked directly, I can banish "Vorticular Drumgon", from my GY, then Special Summon "Launch Dragon" back to my field. (1000/1000)

Commander Ghostflame: I see...

Wiseman: Also, since I Special Summoned "Launch Dragon", I can use its other ability. (Launch Dragon glows and Wiseman displays his 1 card hand) Just like on my first turn, I get to Special Summon another Dragon from my hand. (Wiseman taps the 1 card in his hand) So, I'll bring out another "Wishwing Wyvern". (2000/2000)

("Scarred Lycanthrope" continues his attack, slashes up "Launch Dragon" and Wiseman's Dragon is destroyed)

Wiseman: Since "Launch Dragon" was resurrected from my GY, it's banished from the duel. (Launch Dragon is banished)

Commander Ghostflame: (To himself) I could still attack with "Slumbering Knight". However, attacking would be foolish considering what would happen.

(Commander Ghostflame thinks back to what happened when "Wishwing Wyvern" used its Special Ability last time)

Commander Ghostflame: (Flashback) Now your only monster is gone.

Wiseman: (Flashback) That may be, but by destroying Wishwing Wyvern, it's Special Ability activates. (Wiseman extends his arm to the side) I can Special Summon a Dragon from my GY except for "Wishwing Wyvern" itself.

(The flashback ends, and Commander Ghostflame looks at Wiseman)

Commander Ghostflame: I choose not to attack with "Slumbering Knight", so I'll just end my turn.

Wiseman: A smart call on your part.

Commander Ghostflame: Do not think this will change anything. You're still going to lose.

Wiseman: Doubt it. Now, time to take care of your field.

Commander Ghostflame: You're welcome to try and give it your best shot. But you'll just fall in defeat, just like the rest of my opponents who have been unfortunate enough to duel me.

Wiseman: I don't have time to listen to that. I will defeat you!

(Wiseman's Deck dispenses a card)

Wiseman: It's my turn! (Wiseman Draws and looks at his Draw, then back at Commander Ghostflame) And first with my set Pendulum Scale, I will once again Pendulum Summon!!!!
