"I'm headed straight for the castle,
they wanna make me their queen"

FOR 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS, REGINA HAD BEEN NEXT TO CAIUS'S BEDSIDE, AND ALTHOUGH THE OTHER KINGS LOVED THE FACT THAT THEY HAD RECONNECTED, THEY COULDN'T HELP BUT FEEL AS IF THEY NEEDED TO SPEND TIME WITH HER AS WELL.

They had not said anything earlier, because of all that had happened, and they thought it would be too much for her to bear, if they interrupted. But now, they felt like, if anything, connecting with her, would be a brilliant way to help distract her.

So they hitched a plan, with the help of the guards, Athenodora, and Sulphia. They were all happy to help, and the ex-queens couldn't help but be full of glee, when they found out that the kings were finally moving on.

The two ex-queens were the type to love gossip, so naturally they wanted to know everything about Regina, and so the kings had told the ex-queens everything.

They would interrupt occasionally with comments of "oh dear", "poor girl" and "I see where this is going", and so they had ended up, organising a date, for the two remaining
kings.

The plan was as follows: One of the kings would distract Regina, as the other helped them get everything sorted.

So that's how it went, Marcus would distract her, while Aro helped the rest of them finalise.

***

A hand gently grasped Regina's shoulder, pulling her from her thoughts.

Marcus took notice of how close she was to him, how both of her hands held one of Caius's. She looked at him like he was about to disappear, and Marcus knew that he had worn that same face when his first love, Didyme died.

He didn't wish that on anyone.

"Mio Amore, would you like to join me? Perhaps some time outside would be good for you."

She looked back at Caius, who's eyes were closed in deep meditation, and sighed, taking Marcus's hand.

"Ok, then."

Marcus smiled widely, and spoke. "He'll be fine, I've put some of my most trusted guards to guard him."

***

He had took her to a luscious garden, full of flowers and plants. Trees outlined the garden, and spanned out into the forest that surrounded the castle.

A white marble fountain sat in the middle of the garden, purple Hydrangea flowers surrounding it.

It was overwhelming, so many new sights, sounds and smells; Regina loved it.

They had sat on the edge of the fountain, and watched the little koi fish swim around in the fresh water.

Regina swirled a finger in the water, and watched as the ripples extended outwards.

A brave little koi fish came towards her, and nibbled on her fingertip, making her smile, and pull her hand from the water.

A genuine smile painted her face, and as she looked up at Marcus, he tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

"Bellissima." He breathed, and pecked her lips gently.

"I have something to show you."

***

Blindfolded, she relied heavily on her other senses, and the arm around her, that was her only source of stability and guidance.

She trusted him to not let her bump into any trees, even if he had accidentally let her bump into a corner or two.

She felt him come to a stop, and it took a few seconds, and a couple of blinks to focus her eyes on what was in front of her.

Beneath the starry night sky, in the middle of the forest, laid a couple of blankets, and a basket, and Aro.

Aro stood as she approached, taking her hands in his, and kissing her on the cheek.

"I'm so glad you decided to come, my dear."

***

They laughed as they joked, and feasted on various vampire creations, that Athendora and Sulphia baked for them.

Blood in a wine glass for each of them was the vampire menu, along with blood bakewells, blood biscuits, bloody red velvet cakes, and of course some bloody Mary's, to spice things up a bit (curtesy of @DinaRiddle770 ;) .

They learnt that Regina had, in her mortal life had quite a sweet tooth, and that certainly carried on into her immortal life as well.

***

She spent that night in a king sandwich, Marcus on her left, and Aro on her right.

They had been stargazing, and now they just laid together, enjoying each other's company, even if they weren't speaking.

And everything was perfect, as they all fell into deep meditation.

***

As it turned morning, Regina watched the sunrise with the two kinds, before she returned to check on Caius, and smiled as he was wide awake.

Of course, he was fully aware of what the others had planned, and agreed that she needed some sort of distraction.

"So, how was it?"

For a second, she was confused, but then caught on with the fact that the others had already told him.

"I don't know what to say," Regina said, "It was amazing."

"I thought you didn't know what to say?" He teased, but Regina smiled and rolled her eyes as him.

"Ha ha, very funny."

I'm sorry that this was so long, but it was cute right? Plus you guys have been so patient with me, so I thought that you guys deserved it.
