Chapter 3 The Mirror

Y/N's pov

  "Guys stop!" I yelled running after the others on our way back to the tower "Leave him be!" 

  The titans and I had just fought Dr. Light .. I think Rave gave the old man an near heart attack. The others were worried and so was I, but he wasn't gonna talk if everyone ambushed him with questions.

  "Y/N's right Rave needs some time alone." Robyn said, I sighed in relief.

  "He's always alone!" BG yelled "The only one he actually opens up to is Y/N and she never tells us how he's feeling!"

  "Not my place."

    The next day BG tried to act nice and cheerful to Rave, but she was to pushy about it. That caused Rave to blow the plate of vegan eggs in BG's face before he stormed off. I wanted to go after him but Robyn stopped me by the arm.

  "BG. Go apologize to him." She demanded gesturing at the green girl.

  I followed BG wanting to help her through it since Rave was always least annoyed with me. Really don't know why. The two of us stood outside his door and BG knocked before I slid open. That's strange.. he isn't in here.

  "Come on BG." I sighed grabbing her wrist "He's not here."

  "Don't you wanna explore? To know more about him?" She said pulling out of my grip and walking into the room.

  "We know enough." I argued following her into Rave's room "Come on! Stop touching things."

  BG ignored me and picked up a mirror, she looked into it before letting out a yelp and dropping it. Moments later the two of us were sucked into the portal. We ended up in a place that was dark with floating rocks and red eyed Ravens.

  "Maybe this is his home." BG said. I raised an eyebrow at her quick assumption.. It's possible. "How do we get back?"

  "I can help! Only a forbidden door can take you back!" A voice spoke from behind us their voice full of cheer.

  We turned to see Rave, but something was off. He was in a pink cloak and looked way to happy. What the hell? He does have a cute smile though..

  "Why are you in pink and  look so happy? You're never happy?!" BG commented staring at the male in shock.

  "Pinks my favorite color!" He chuckled walking over to us putting an arm around my shoulder and pulling me into a hug "And I'm always happy especially with her. Come on follow me!"

  I felt my face grow red as he let me go smiling, the two of us followed behind the way too happy Rave.

Once we stepped through a gate we were in a very colorful place that smelt like cupcakes. I turned around to find pink Rave, but saw Rave in a grey cloak looking like he was about to cry. That hurts my heart seeing him like this!

  "Hi." I smiled at the grey Rave moving over towards him slowly "Can you help us? Please?"

He shook his head before speaking  in a timid voice "if I do you'll hate me."

  "No we won't. I could never hate you." I smiled gently covering BG's mouth before she could yelled at grey Rave "Just please show us the way."

  He nodded and the two of us followed him into a maze. BG tried to fly over it but was thrown down my some magical force.

  "You have to go through." Grey Rave cried "I told you you'd hate me."

  "Like I said I could never hate you!" I smiled grabbing his hand and squeezing it softly  "We'll do it together."

  We made it to the end of the maze when a two faced statue attacked us. I turned noticing Rave was gone as the pressure of his hand vanished from mine. A frown formed across my lips as I started shooting at the stone monster. I growled as everything failed before a Rave in a green cloak came out of nowhere and kicked the creature down.

  "Hell yeah!" He smirked towards me winking "That's what I'm talking about! You see that Y/N??"

  Within a few minutes the creature was dead and green Rave was smiling happily as he looked down at the stone pieces before running towards me and pulling my hand into a high-five. I looked at the male in confusion as my face felt hot.

  "What's going on!" BG yelled pointing a finger at the green Rave "What's with the cloak and personality change! Who are you?"

  "What do you mean." Three voices spoke, the three Rave's we had met standing in front of us  "I'm Rave."

  "You shouldn't be here!" The real Rave yelled appearing in front of me "In my mind!"

  I nodded at him with a small smile just happy he was okay "Glad to see you, now how do we get out?"

  Before he could speak a demon like creature rose up and attacked sending a blast of fire in our direction. Rave created a shield as BG ran and I just stood there not feeling a thing. Only good thing about my powers..

  "If we don't defeat it. You'll be stuck here." Rave yelled over in my direction, fear evident in his eyes.

  "We got your back!" I called towards him throwing a fire ball at the demon "But we can't win like this! Can you get help from the other yous or something?"

  "I need a few minutes! Can you keep him distracted?"

  I nodded my head before Rave ran off and I attacked the demon again. I kept throwing fireballs til Rave appeared beside me in a white cloak.

  He used his powers and the demon slowly turned into a red cloaked Rave with four red eyes. The two of them merged together and a moment later we were back in Rave's room.

  "Don't get mad at her!" BG cried stepping in front of me "I came to apologize and couldn't find you so I looked around. Y/N tried to stop me, she didn't do anything wrong. I'm sorry."

  "You're forgiven." Rave sighed crossing his arms "Don't come in here again. Understand?"

  "I won't! Sorry Again!" She yelled running down the hallway towards the stairs.

  "Hey I have a question.." I spoke looking towards the ground as the heat started to appear on my face once more. "Pi..nk you said he was happier around me. Why?"

  "I enjoy your company idiot." He sighed flicking my head as I looked up at him "Come on let's go get some tea and read. I need something to relax me after what you two did.."

  I nodded my head happily before following the purple haired empath. Maybe deep down he didn't just like my company but possibly more.
