Y/N's pov
I woke up in pain, my head was throbbing. Slowly sitting up I looked around to find the city covered in stone and fire. Rave.. He was gone..
"I've seen dark before, but not like this" I muttered to myself, a tear slipping down my cheek, I felt my body start to become cold "This is cold, this is empty, this is numb"
I stood up limping slightly to see everything around me destroyed. He was really gone, he couldn't be. I didn't even get to say it back, I never got to tell him I loved him..
"I follow you around, I always have" I cried to the red sky "But you've gone to a place I cannot find"
"You are lost, hope is gone" a voice whispered "But you must go on"
"R-rave?" I cried looking around, all I saw was terrified stone faces "I'm S-Sorry I failed you.."
I started to walk around again, I shivered as the feeling from my sadness made me cold, passing all the innocent people froze in stone. Were the others alright? I tripped over a lifted piece of concrete and hiss at my bruising knees. I bowed my head down, feeling tears form faster.
"I can't find my direction, I'm all alone
The only star that guided me was you. You helped me so much Rave you can't be gone. You couldn't of left me!" I yelled "H-how do I rise from the floor? If it's not you I'm rising for. How do I do the next right thing without you?"
"You can do it Y/N.." The whispering voice spoke once more "You have to get up and try!"
"If I'm alive!" I cried out loud "There's a reason for it!"
I stood up pushing past my burning knees and started to run. I notice a Raven and smiled seeing it. I would stop Trigon, even if it killed me, for Rave. The coldness slowly started to fade as I followed the dark feathered bird. I had hope and I was going to try.
