Chapter 56 Meeting Doom Patrol

Note the doom patrol will be staying as their normal genders along with the new villains from this season.
Y/N's pov

  "Beast Girl's all star comedy review!" I sat on the couch bored as the green girl sat in a bathtub. How'd she even get that in here? "I know what you're all thinking. There's nothing more annoying then when you can't play your tuba in the bath tub."
  "More annoying then this?" I chuckled at Rave's words while he read a book.
"Friend Y/N do not laugh!" Bolt popped up from the floor "Please continue!"
I watched as BG pulled out a tuba before putting on some googles and started to blow. The song she started to play wasn't horrible nothing could be as bad as her tube-orkel. Sounds of groans and music filled the air before something small broke in through the door.
  "What the hell is that thing?" Cy jumped up pinging her cannon "And why isn't it attacking?"
"Because it's meant for me." BG spoke before turning to face the machine. We watched in silence as it scanned her.
  "Beast Girl." A man in purple appeared on the screen "If this message has reached you then you know what it means."
Robyn ordered us to get packed and ready to leave in 10. The message still playing as the masked purple man explained that we should check out the Amazon jungle. It being the last place the Doom Patrol as BG called them was spotted.
  I sat in my pod in the T-ship as Robyn and BG spoke over our headsets. I was confused on who the doom patrol and brother hood of evil were. I had never heard of either group before.
"Guys I'm picking something up on the scanners." Cy told us over the head sets "Redirecting us towards it."
  I followed behind the rest of the team after we landed looking around at the trees. Robyn cut some over grown vines in front of us as we followed the signal before Bolt gasped.
  "The Doom Patrol's ship." BG cried  looking at the reck as I got closer towards the front of the group to see "Or what's left of it."
"Scanner shows no vitals." Cy spoke lifting her arm up to show us "No ones in there."
"Then shouldn't we look for them?" I asked looking towards my leader "But where do we start? They could be anywhere?"
"Then we look everywhere." BG growled before running into the trees
"Did I say something wrong?"
  Rave shook his head no before grabbing my hand. I ran beside him as we followed the others catching up to Beast Girl.
  "This patrol of doom?" Bolt asked as he floated next to Rave and I "Why do you never speak of them?"
  "Who are they?"
  "They are a group kinda like ours. They are legends though BG!" Cy said answering my question "Why'd you never talk about them?"
  "It was an old part of my life. I'm a Titan now. Come on!" She growled pushing at some more branches "You're moving too slow!"
  "Is she okay?" I asked looking confused "I've never seen her like this.."
  "The doom patrol raised her. They are like her family-"
  "No!!"
  Robyn was cut off as we heard Beast Girl scream. I ran through the trees BG following the others before we reached a slightly opened area. I stopped in my tracks seeing a robot man tied to a tree.
"Robo Man! Come on wake up!" BG yelled shacking his leg "It's Beast Girl! Please wake up!" She then turned to Cy running to grab her hand "You need to help him!"
  "I'll do what I can." She agreed walking over before pulling Robo Man out of the vines and started to work on him "I'm picking up brainwaves on the scanner. He is alive somewhere in there."
Mento!" Robo man yelled after Cy pressed the button on his chest "I'm coming!! Hang on!"
  I stood in shock for a few moments watching as trees were torn down everywhere Robo Man ran. I followed him behind the trail of falling trees moving out of the way of some. Rave flew down picking me up in his arms as one almost fell on top of me. I clung onto him as we reached an old stone structure. Robo Man was yelling names as he looked around. I stood confused before Cy spoke
"Robo Man I had to reset your internal chronometer in order for you to wake up. You've been out for a while."
"How long?" He demanded walking towards us "I asked how long?!"
"Five months.." BG sighed looking at the ground
I stopped paying attention as Robo Man spoke looking around the building, at the smoke coming from broke machines.
"This is you're new group." Robo Man spat causing me to focus "They're just a bunch of kids!"
"Nice to see you too Cliff.."
"Sorry squirt." He sighed "They got us good. We thought we had them! We need to find them."
A sound came from behind us before we turned seeing trees starting to fall. Before Robyn could give us an order Robo Man was already heading towards the falling trees.
"I'm not going to be much help!" I growled as we started to attack the machine collecting trees "Unless you want the trees on fire! It's too dangerous for me to use my powers!"
I watched from the sides as my team started to attack the machine none of their powers or gadgets seemed to stop it. Robo Man ran at it before making a hole inside the machine and destroying it from the inside out.
"The machines were built by the brain to collect raw materials." Robo Man or Cliff spoke "They are all over the jungle."
"Robyn." I turned to my leader "If we follow one me might find whoever this Brain is. Possibly the rest of Robo Man's team."
"Well aren't you the smart one."
"Not really." I sassed back looking at the robot "But I try my best."
He raised an eyebrow at me as I slid down the cliff following BG. The seven of us stayed hidden into the trees as we followed behind the machines. After a long walk we approached a large stone building between two cliffs.
"Looks like we found it." Robyn spoke
"We have any idea." Rave sighed floating next to me "What it is?"
"Something bad.." I grumbled "As usual."
  I knelt down with the rest of my team as Robyn looked through her radar googles scanning the area.
  "This is where we split up." She spoke keeping her eyes on the building "Cy you'll take the front. Bolt and Rave take out those guard towers, Beast Girl you gotta get the security door open-
  "What about these guys!" Cliff asked as Machines came from the trees "Now can I beat them up."
  I followed after Robo Man and Robyn jumping blasting myself up into the air before landing on the top of one of the machines. I burned a hole leading to its insides before frying its internals. I growled dodging another ones attack before Robo Man grabbed its claw and threw it to the ground. Once everything was destroyed he lifted up one of the machines and threw it into the building.
  I looked down noticing some people trapped in different devices, a robot skull with a brain in it,  a gorilla, and multiple soldiers. I jumped down with the rest of my team and started attacking the guards. I sent fire balls their directions watching them drop their weapons before running at them and knocking them out. I ran towards the women trapped in the bubble before burning the controls under it causing her to fall out.
  "Thank you." She spoke as I helped her out before moving us away from a laser attack.
  Rave flew behind me lighting me up so I could shoot fire from above destroying machinery and hitting guards. He dropped me on the ground allowing Cy and I to attack the gorilla in a combo attack sending him into a wall. I moved quickly pushing BG out of the way of an upcoming attack causing us both to land in some rubble. I watched a purple sphere form around my team and Doom Patrol as the central machine in the building started to glow as electricity surrounded it.
  "BG." I called helping her up "We need to get our friends out!"
  "Beast girl!" Mento yelled at us "Stop them!"
  "This place is coming down you gotta get us out!" Cy banged on the memetic field.
"Forget about us and get the power core!" Mento growled "Don't make the same mistake twice!"
BG looked at me and nodded before turning into a pterodactyl and lifting me up. I aimed my hands the machines creating the field and started to burn them breaking the shield around my friends and Doom Patrol. BG flew the two of us out of the building as the others followed behind us.
"Good job Beast Girl and Y/N." Robyn smiled patting us on the shoulder "You two did it."
I smiled at my leader before turning to my boyfriend and running over to him. He sent me a small smile as his hand reached down and grabbed mine. I turned to look at my team as BG started walking towards the doom patrol.
"We got everyone out safe." She spoke looking at Mento
"But you let the brain get away!" Mento growled looking at BG then me "How could you be so foolish? There were two of you! You could of stopped him!"
"But we also needed both of us to set you all free or there was a higher chance of no one getting out!" I growled pulling away from Rave and standing next to BG "We saved your lives does that mean nothing to you?"
"You only delayed our deaths." He snapped meeting my eyes, I stood my ground glaring right back waiting for him to explain "I read the brains mind. He has a new quantum generator and it works. The most powerful weapon is in the hands of a mad man because you couldn't follow orders!"
"I don't take orders from you and Beast Girl doesn't anymore!" I stood in front of her "Maybe if you explained what the brain had one of us could of gone after them! But you kept to to yourself and have the nerves to blame it all on her!"
"We have a planet to save." Mento spoke after a few minutes his eyes slightly widened from my yelling "Doom Patrol move out."
