Chapter 10 I Wanna Go Home

Y/N's pov

  "Bolt!" I yelled running over to my friend "What's wrong?
  I had been reading in my room when a knocked distracted me. I got up to see Bolt at my door with a sad look on his face.
"It's the day of friendship, Blorthog.." he muttered "I was trying to do the celebration with the others but they got angry! I told them of Rekma, drifting apart as you called it. They looked at me and said it was the normal for them to fight."
"It's okay Bolt!" I smiled "If they didn't care I wouldn't of been saved a few weeks ago. If they didn't care we wouldn't be a team. They're probably just tired and stressed. With Slade running around and everything plus the scientists still after me they need rest."
"You are the right!" He smiled hugging me "Will you celebrate Blorthog with me?"
  I nodded my head causing my best friend to hug me. Just before he could walk into my room our communicators went off.
  "Rain check on that." I sighed "After the fight we will. I promise."
The two of us headed down stairs to meet the others before heading to the museum. A villain we had never seen was trying to steal an artifact called the clock of eternity. As the others where knocked back or hurt Warp, the villain opened up a portal. Bolt was standing up now and the two of us charged at him falling into the portal as the others yelled our names. I grabbed onto the clock as Bolt grabbed the device on Warp's chest. The two of us fell out of the blue light tunnel and landed in the park surrounded by snow.
"Since when did it snow." I muttered standing up "In the summer?"
"Friend Y/N." Bolt pointed "The date."
"But that says we are twenty years in the future!" I cried "Twenty! We gotta find the others!"
Bolt nodded lifting me up bridal style before flying to the tower. I was in shock noticing the broken windows and how dirty and dark the tower looked, like a haunted house.
"Hello!" I yelled "Robyn, Rave, BG, Cy!"
"Who are you!" A female voice demanded as a arm cannon was pointed at us "I said, who are you!"
"Cy." I smiled "Step into the light. You'll be able to see us."
"Y-you look the same." She muttered her eyes widening "The same as the day you two vanished!"
"Friend Cy." Bolt spoke in confusion "What do you mean vanished?"
"You disappeared with Warp twenty years ago." She muttered "None of us have seen you since."
"Speaking of the others." I spoke "Where are they?"
"We searched for about a year then Rave and Robyn went on their own to look for you. I haven't seen them since. BG joined a circus a few years ago after she gave up searching with me. I stayed just in case and because of my battery, I can't leave."
"Friend Cy." Bolt said hugging her "Please tell us where friend Beast Girl is. We will find friends Robyn and Rave after."
She nodded before telling us and wishing the two of us good luck. It broke me to know the team died after we vanished. Bolt landed with me in his arms and I froze seeing kids throwing tomatoes at a cage. Once my feet touched the ground I picked up a tomato that rolled by my feel. I looked at the oldest kid, maybe 17 and chucked it at his head. Everyone froze and turned to me.
"It isn't fun now is it!" I hiss, he was about to throw one at me when I lifted my hand with flames engulfing it "I wouldn't try that."
The boy nodded his head before all the kids ran off leaving us to face a green women covered in red fruit. I ran to her and a frown formed on my lips.
"How!" BG gasped "We thought you died! You don't look a day older then the last time I saw you!"
"We are from the past." I smiled "Let's get you out of here."
"No!" She yelled causing me to back up and Bolt to jump "I put myself in here! To keep them out! To keep everyone out! Just go!"
  I nodded my head grabbing Bolt's hand before running off. I sighed as we walked in the city when my eyed caught a white cloaked figure running through the allies. I grabbed Bolt and ran after the person.
  "R-Rave.." I muttered "Is that you?"
  "Who ever you are!" He hissed "Leave!"
  "It's Y/N-"
  "She's dead! So whatever sick trick this is!" He yelled as things began to fly "Leave!"
  My heart broke seeing him like this. I wanted to run up to him and hug the man but I couldn't. A tear ran down my cheek as I ran out of the building with Bolt.
  Minutes passed when Warp attacked, wanting the clock. I hit him once before a birdarang blew up in his face. I turned to see a women in a black suit with a blue bird on it. She wore a mask and her black hair was long.
"R-Robyn.."
After explains everything to her she pressed a button and I watched as the necklace on my neck started to blink. It was part of my communicator to let the others know to gather together.
  "Do you think.." I started "They really will come?"
  "Only one way to find out." She sighed looking at us "We really missed you two."
I smiled up at my leader when I heard footsteps. The three of us turned to see Cy, BG, and Rave standing there. They actually came!
"Let's beat this guy." Robyn smirked "Then get you two home."
I nodded my head and the six of us went on the search for Warp. The battle was hard but we managed to knock him down. I smiled happily before turning to my team, something took over me and I ran into Rave's arms.
"I'm sorry.." I muttered "For making you worry."
He was froze for a moment and nodded his head. I waved bye with Bolt before we headed back to our own time.
  "Friend Y/N!" Bolt cheered hugging me "We did it! We are Back!"
  "I know Bolt." I giggled as our friends looked at us in confusion "I know."
  I pulled out of his arms before running at Rave and tackling him in a hug. He slowly wrapped his arms around me, still confused.
  "Let's go home." I smiled "Then we will explain everything. I'm just glad to be back."
