Chapter 35 Blue Flames

Note as of this chapter you have been with Rave for almost five months

Y/N's pov

  "You know BG." I sighed "You could of asked me to play video games instead of glueing the remote to Rave's hands."
  "But you always win." She complained "I want to be able to beat someone."
  I rolled my eyes at her response before taking Rave to the sink to wash off the school glue Beast Girl has used on his hands.
  "Calling Cy." Robyn spoke to the monitor "Calling Cy."
"Hey guys!" Cy beamed happily once her face was on the screen "What's up?"
  "Hello friend Cy!" Bolt smiled "I have missed you already since you left!"
  "Same here!" BG sighed "It's been so boring and Rave sucks at video games!"
  "Then why the hell did you glue his hands to a controller Beast Girl?" I yelled from the kitchen "Two out of the four of us with you would still play you know?"
  "Oh right." BG said rubbing the back of her head "I could of asked Bolt!"
  I rolled my eyes at her statement pulling the video game control off of Rave's hands and chucking it at BG. She jumped out of the way turning into a mouse as the controller hit the couch.
"Nice aim Y/N." Robyn said "So how goes the trip?"
"Should you really be encouraging her?" Cy asked "And just perfect! It's like 80 below, the hail is messing up my paint job, and why did I agree to this?"
"Because they said no to me going." I sighed "I could of gone with her you know?"
"It's too dangerous for you to go Y/N when it's just the two of you." Robyn said, I rolled my eyes "If Cy does find Blood we'll all go. Plus it might be good for Cy to get out of the tower for a while."
"Friend Robyn is right." Bolt smiled "You have been acting lobstery for the last few weeks."
"Uhh." Rave started walking out of the kitchen and next to me "I think he means crabby."
  "All I'm saying is that I know Blood the best!" I growled "I should be there to help!"
I pushed past Rave and Bolt before heading up to my room. I sighed falling onto my bed and burying my face in a pillow, gripping it tightly. Did they not trust me? Did they think I was weak? 
  I froze smelling smoke and looked down seeing the pillow I was holding had caught on fire. I screamed running out of my room past Rave who was about to knock on my door and downstairs. I dashed past the rest of my team towards the front door and chuckled the halfway ash pillow into the ocean. The others turned to me in worry.
  "Damn it!" I cried "That was my favorite pillow too!"
"Friend Y/N?" Bolt asked "Are you the alright?"
"Yeah.." I muttered as Rave walked into the main room with his eyebrows raised "When I'm angry or embarrassed I sometimes catch things on fire.."
  "Come on." Rave muttered gently grabbing my hand "Let's go meditate on the roof, okay? It will help you relax."
  I nodded my head before following Rave towards the elevator. Once on the roof Rave levitated above the ground with his legs crossed. I climbed onto his lap getting comfortable before closing my eyes and repeating the words Rave spoke. Once I felt calm enough I turned my head towards his chest and curled up against him. I heard Rave sigh before he wrapped his arms around my back and leaned his head against mine.
  "Hey.." he muttered, his breath tickling my skin "You feeling better?"
"Yeah." I sighed curling up deeper into his arms "Just annoyed."
"I know." Rave spoke "Robyn is just doing this to protect you. Blood wants you, going to Steel City is what she wants."
"It just makes me feel weak.. or unstable.." I whispered "Like she doesn't trust me to take care of myself."
  "You know she doesn't think that." Rave sighed kissing my head "You want to go watch a movie?"
  "I know she doesn't think that way, but I just want to help. And yes!" I smiled hugging him tightly "please.."
A few minutes later I was curled up on Rave's lap as we watched an old movie. Halfway through the movie a knock was heard. I paused the movie and walked over towards the door opening it and sticking my head out of Rave's room.
"Oh hey Robyn." I said "Need something?"
"We were going out for pizza." My leader spoke giving me an apologetic smile "Would you two like to come?"
"I'm down." I smiled "As long as Bolt and BG can't pick out the toppings. Rave you want to come?"
  Rave just nodded his head before he crawled off his bed. He walked over grabbing my hand before we followed Robyn downstairs. Rave made a platform under him so I could sit as he flew, BG turned into a bird, and Bolt carried Robyn as we headed towards the pizzeria. I smiled swinging my legs back and forth at the edge of the platform as we got close to the pizza place.
  "We'll get two pizzas." Robyn said "That way Bolt and Beast Girl can each get a half of what they choose and a pizza the three of us can agree on."
  "Sweet!" I yelled pumping my fist in the air "As long as it has (f/t)ing we should be good on my side. I'll just pick off anything I don't like that you two pick."
Later that night we got a message from the prison saying Professor Chang had escaped prison. Robyn called Cy telling her to come home before the five of us split up to search for Chang. I waved bye to Rave before heading to check the north side of town.
As I was walking through an alley way as a short cut something hit me. Everything started to go black as I tired to reach for my communicator.
"Hello dear." A female voice spoke once I started to come to. I tired to move around only to be held down by something "It's about time you woke up."
I slowly regained my sight and froze when I saw Blood in front of me. I growled trying to move to attacked only to find my arms restrained. I noticed the needle marking covering my left arm and the countless empty vials on a tray.
"You've been out for a few hours." She smiled "Don't worry I continued off where we started last time."
I realized my skin was wet and I was only in my under clothes, my dress on a table behind Blood.
"From past test the water should start to roll off." She paused for a moment "Now." My eyes widened as the droplets of water slid off my skin leaving it completely dry, she had finally finished the water resistant test. "Exactly thirty three minutes after injection. Looks like our testing is right on schedule."
"You monster!" I yelled "What's you're plan?"
"An army of bots created with your friend Cy's technology." She smiled darkly "And after destroying your team continue my experiment again to make the most powerful humans in the world. You and Cy seem to be the only ones immune to my mind control."
"That's because I know how awful of a person you are!" I spat "I'll get out of here and when I do I swear you'll with your were dead."
"The restraints can't withstand your make heating point of 1000 degrees." Blood said as she headed to the door "Maybe I'll keep your purple haired friend around. He'd be fun to experiment on. I'll be back after I'm through with your friends."
As she walked through the door I started to struggle in my restraints. I had to help them! Struggling was proving to be useless. I growled in anger, I can't let Blood win! Not after what's she's done to me, Cy, those other kids! I can't let her win! She'll try to hurt Rave! I won't let her hurt anyone again, not my team and not Rave!
"No!" I yelled as I felt myself pull free "I won't let her win!"
I looked down to see my hands covered in blue flames. Blue fire, I had read before it was the hottest degree fire could be, more powerful then my orange flames. I slid off the operating table before I grabbed my dress. Once I was dressed I formed fire in my palms my flames once more turning blue. This is going to end today!
"Why must you defy me!" I heard Blood scream as I walked outside "You cannot win give in!"
  "I may not be able to beat you alone!" Cy smirked once she saw me "You might wanna turn around."
Blood turned around as my fist collided with her jaw. She screamed in pain pulling her hand away to show burning marks now on her face.
"You might of finished one more of your tests!" I growled walking closer to Blood "But that was your last one!"
"How?" She snarled standing up, my friends were released from her control "Impossible! You shouldn't of been able to have gotten free!"
"My heating point!" I smirked "Just got hotter!" I shot a fire ball at her causing her to fall down once more and scream as she put out the flame "This!" I growled using my normal fist and punching her "Is for Cy!" Again "This is for the children you hurt and killed!" Again "And this is for me!"
With the last punch to the face Blood fell unconscious to the ground. She was finally defeated, Blood was finally defeated. I wanted her to feel the pain I did, to go through everything she put those kids and I through but I couldn't. I would never sink down to her level of hurting others for my own again. That was the only reason I stopped when she fell unconscious or I would of killed her.
"Friend Y/N!" Bolt yelled tackling me in a hug "We were so worried. You had disappeared durning our search for the Professor Chang! I am the glad you are alright!"
"Y/N?" Robyn said as Bolt pulled away "Your flames changed color?"
"I was just so angry." I spoke clenching my fists "She was trying to hurt you guys and she wanted to experiment on Rave. I don't know what happened but my flames turned blue and I was able to escape."
  "Maybe you just unlocked your true power." Rave sighed before pulling me into hug "I'm sorry we couldn't reach you in time.. I'm just glad you're safe."
  "It's alright." I sighed hugging him back "One more test is nothing compared to the chance of losing you or the others."
  "Okay titans let's get Blood to a hospital before sending her to prison." Robyn said "Then we can start fixing the Titans East Tower. Let's go."
  I nodded my head staring at the unconscious women. Once everything was settled down I would be able to try and learn where the main lab was and possibly find more files on myself.
