Chapter 23 Aftershock (Part 3)

Y/N's pov

  I watched from inside the fog as Terry floated on a rock looking around, robots behind him. The city had gone into ruins, abandoned after a week of us in hiding. The six of us were ready to take on our biggest challenge.
"Thanks." Terry spoke with arms behind his back, I could only assume he was talking to Slade "It was fun." The titans and I followed close behind him staying in the fog " sector five is secure. Pretty quiet since all the people cleared out."
  Terry continued to check the surrounding areas, freezing a certain places. He then finally stopped at the clearing, showing the tower from town.
"Well we did it." He spoke "The Titans are really gone."
  A moment later Rave used his power to wrap around one of the robots before pulling it into the fog, destroying it. Cy and I shot at the Remaining two by Terry's side causing Terry to fall over onto the concrete. He turned and looked around
  "I don't know-" He stopped looking at our shadows "No I destroyed you!"
He sent a blast of rocks at a car as we ran around him before Cy punched him from behind. Bolt then shot a star beam knocking him back down. Terry created a rock pillar under him before Raven destroyed it causing Terry to fall again. I ran at him kicking Terry in the face before Cy shot a sonic blast at him. Terry stood up once more as Cy ran at him before Terry tried shooting rocks at the her, Rave used his powers to grab him before Terry made another pillar under himself. BG ran at him in wolf form knocking him down.
"Beast Girl!" Terry yelled "Aren't you even gonna talk to me?"
  "There's nothing to talk about."
  "You were only using us!"
  "You attempted to annihilate us!"
  "Did you think we wouldn't take it personally?"
  "It's over Terry!"
  Terry looked around at us before using his powers to escape from the six of us. We all stepped out of the fog looking up.
  "Terry." Bolt started "He looks scared."
  "Scared." Rave growled "Isn't the same as sorry."
  "I don't care how he feels." Robyn spoke "Terry is a dangerous criminal who needs to be stopped."
"He will be!" BG hissed clenching her fist "I'll make sure of it!"
  "Got a lock." Cy said "He's heading East."
  "Okay." I nodded "Let's go then!"
We ran around and I saw Terry pop his head out of an alley before I ran at him with my hand in flames punching his face. He shot a boulder at me which Rave grabbed an threw back. We continue to fight til Terry flew off, Overload, Cinderblock, and Plasmis taking his place. I watched in disgust as the three creatures merged together.
  Durning the fight Slade's robots attacked us as well. I looked around noticing BG had vanished before Rave covered us with a shield. Once the creature was defeated the five of us followed BG's communicator tracker. Once we arrived at Slade's lair BG's leg was caught under a piece of broken ceiling as Terry held a sharp rock over her.
"Stop it!!"
"Terry no!"
"It'll be the last thing you ever do!"
"I gave you an order!" Slade yelled "Do it!"
"Please Terry no!"
"Don't do it! Don't do it!"
  "It's your life Terry." BG spoke looking up at the blonde "It's never too late to change."
"I'm sorry Beast Girl." Terry said looking her in the eyes "For everything I've done."
  His eyes glowed yellow before pointing the rock at Slade and attacking. Slade was pushed back but quickly jumped out of Terry's next attack. The two fought as Cy ran to help BG up. On the top of one of the rocks Slade held Terry up before his eyes glew again.
  "I'm not your's to use!" He yelled "Ever again!"
A giant yellow light filled the room before Slade was knock out on the floor and Terry fell to his knees. Lava then started to burst threw the ground causing us all to freeze.
"Terry's power" Robyn yelled "Triggered a volcano!"
  Rave grabbed my hand and start pulling me away from the lava and falling rocks. I turned my head to see BG hugging Terry before she ran in our direction. The yellow light appeared again as soon as our feet made it to the surface.
  "T-Terry.." Bolt muttered a tear rolling down his face "saved us."
  I watched as BG and Bolt hugged, each crying in the others arms. I sighed curling up next to Rave as he held me. After everything Terry did he ended up saving us.
  Days later we headed back down to Slade's lair and left flowers and a plaque.
