Chapter 33 Bunny Rave

Y/N's pov

  I sat curled up next to Rave in my room as he was reading a book and I watched an old horror movie. I frowned when alarm went off just as the killer stabbed his victim. Rave laid his book on my sofa before we headed downstairs.
  "Robyn..." I sighed in annoyance "This better be important."
  "The alarms always important Y/N." Robyn spoke "Mumbo Jumbo is robbing the bank. Let's go Titans!"
  "Why does everyone feel like always robbing the bank." I growled "Let's get this over with!"
  "Friend Y/N?" Bolt questioned as we headed to the T-Car "What is the matter?"
  "She's just grouchy." Rave said as he sat next to me in the T-Car "She was in the middle of one of her horror movies."
As we arrived at the bank I could see Mumbo through the window talking to a gagged women behind the counter, showing her a trick.
  "Ah." Mumbo spoke looking at the bank teller "How I love a captive audience."
  "They may be captive now!" Robyn raised her voice "But you're the one who's getting locked up."
I ignored the rest of their banter as Mumbo threw out ping pong balls that started to bounce around and explode. BG was able to stop a few of them by turning into an alligator and catches them in her mouth. The explosion of them caused her to become weak. I shot the rest down causing them to explode on the floor away from the hostages.
Rave, Robyn, and Bolt start to distract Mumbo as Cy aimed her cannon at the teal magician. Mumbo maked a shield out of flowers and avoids the attack.
I ran and tried to throw a fire ball at Mumbo when a water hose sprayed water at me, killing my fire. I growled as my body temperature started to dry my skin.
Rave was fighting back and forth with Mumbo til he caused three silver rings to fall above Raven and wrap around him tightly.
"Cute trick." Rave chuckled darkly "Ready to see some real magic? Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
  Rave broke free from the hoops before lifting up a column Cy had knocked down and throwing it at Mumbo. Mumbo vanishes as it was about to hit him and reappears once Rave pulls the column back.
"Trying to steal the limelight I see?" Mumbo chuckled "Guess I'll make you apart of my act then!"
Doves fly out of Mumbo's hat after he uttered a spell and surrounded Rave. The doves turn into a mini tornado moving around paper and money as it started to suck Rave into the hat. I jumped up and tried to grab his hand missing. I growled moving closer and grasping my boyfriend's arm firmly, someone grabbing my waist from behind as we started to get sucked into the hat.
"Rave!"
"Y/N!"
"Robyn!"
"Bolt!"
"Dudes!"
  The hat sucked the six off use into a dark vortex, all of us screaming and yelling for each other. Rave's hand started to slip out of mine and I screamed his name as he fell into the darkness.
I slowly sat up and looked around seeing everyone else near me except for Rave. The five of us got up and started to walk around noticing many theaters and flyers everywhere. How big with this guys stupid hat, it seemed to be going in circles after passing the same theater for the third time. Maybe his hat wasn't so huge.
"We need to find Rave." Robyn spoke "He could be in danger."
"Oh how I wish there was a sign." Bolt cried "To help us find friend Rave."
  A moment later  against glowing sign appeared reading "Tonight only- The Amazing Mumbo and god new assistant Rave". I looked at the others shrugging before we followed the arrow under the sign into a theater.
We entered into a lobby area that was pitch black besides one spot light. My friends and I looked around calling out Rave's name.
"Y/N!" A voice called "Up here!"
  The five of us looked up to see a white bunny in Rave's cloak up in a cage. I raised an eyebrow as Bolt floated up to the cage.
  "Umm guys?" BG started "Why's that rabbit sound like Rave?"
  "Because I am Rave." The rabbit grumbled "Get me out of here!"
  "Aww! You look cute!" I giggled.
I caught Rave's eyes as he growled. I just laughed while Bolt broke the lock, Rave was about to jump out when a hand came out of nowhere and tried grabbing him.
"Sorry! No sneak previews!" Mumbo's voice filled the air "You'll have to wait like everyone else! Now you see him!" Mumbo's hands held up a smaller hat and Rave "Now you don't!"
  "Titans!" Robyn yelled "Get that hat!"
  Both Bolt and BG went after the hat holding Rave as the rest of us fought the huge Mumbo. Bolt threw his star beams after the hat only for it to vanished. BG and Cy attached together before Robyn threw her birdarangs at him. I used my fire to propel myself in the air before lifting my legs up and kicking Mumbo's huge nose. He moved back a step holding his long pointy ass nose.
  "Ow." He hissed "That was just rude! Pesky powers!"
  I was zapped into a dark room and could hear muffled voices before whatever I was in started to be thrown around. I hissed as my back hit the side of the room I was in, every few seconds I could see the outside light as the thing I was in was lifted up and pushed back down.
Once what I assumed was a cup was lifted off of me I gasped seeing the others. Robyn was a monkey, Bolt a tiger, and Cy a grizzly bear with a tutu. I looked down at myself noticing the difference in my body, the hair and the color I was. The stupid ass magician turned me into a meerkat!
  "Oh yeah!" Beast Girl yelled, I looked up seeing her attached to a spinning wheel "What are you going to do to me? I already turn into animals."
I watched in utter disbelief as Mumbo tried turning BG into an animal just for to turn back to her original self. Mumbo sighed before saying a spell, once the smoke cleared I looked to see a green lamp by me.
"Well Titananimals and lamp." Mumbo spoke "Let's see your try to stop me now!"
    The room went dark and I sighed not having my flames to light up everything. I ignored the voices of my teams conversation, my mind on Rave. Was he okay? What was Mumbo doing to him? I clenched my paws as a light turned on. I spun around to see the others standing next to BG. The room was completely dark besides the light BG provided.
"Friends?" Bolt spoke "How was Mumbo able to turn us into the animals?"
"He must be more powerful here." Robyn sighed "We need to find Rave."
"I swear when I get my claws on him!" Cy growled after ripping off the hundredth tutu for another one to appear "Did I just say claws?"
"Be happy.." Bolt muttered scratching his head "You do not have the fleas."
BG turned into an old fashioned phone and started to ring. We all looked at each other in confusion. Cy slowly lifted up the arm and put her ear to it waiting for a sound.
"Hello?" Cy said "Beast Girl-"
  "Hel-lo? What have you got to complain about? I'm a lamp!" BG cried Cy held the phone away from her ear "What's wrong with being an animal, anyway? At least you guys have legs. I can't even move! And do you have any idea how hot a light bulb ge—"
  "Ah!" Cy yelled hanging up the phone "That hurt my ears! At least we can shut her up now."
Beast Girl turned into an air horn yelling at Cy which caused her to fly through her pile of tutus. Once she sat up I noticed at door.
"Look guys! A door." I said running over towards it "It's probably one if Mumbo's traps again."
"Most likely." Robyn said "But it beats staying in this dark room. Let's go titans."
  Once out of the room we noticed that the four of us were back where we started, outside the theater on a street. BG turned into an antique phone and started to ring. I watched Cy take a step back as Robyn and Bolt played rock, paper, scissors to see who had to answer. Rolling my eyes I picked up the phone.
  "Y/N." Beast Girl spoke "What do you think the Great Bluedini wanted with Rave?"
"I'm not sure." I sighed "Probably has to do with Rave's powers. Mumbo said something about taking the limelight. We just need to find Rave and get out of this hell hat!"
  Sirens filled the air and I pulled away from BG to see a paddy wagon roll over to us. Giant white gloves sitting in it. The gloves charged at us, ready to attack. My team and I tired to use our powers and gadgets to find them not working or replaced with something harmless. I growled before tackling one of the gloves and starting to scratch it. I was lifted up and tossed into the back of the paddy wagon. Hissing as Bolt was thrown on top of me. The door was slammed shut as I sat up slowly.
  "Trapped in a magical hat!" Cy yelled annoyed "Now manhandled by magic gloves! What's next?"
I growled after vanishing into a dark room, feeling one of the gloves hands grab me. I was walked out with the others and sighed in relief seeing Rave in a cage. He look alright minus being a bunny. I was placed right next to him still stuck in the glove as Mumbo smiled at us.
  "You know what they say. You can't beat Mumbo." He chuckled "Join Mumbo!"
  "No!" I growled "We are not going to be apart of your act!"
  "I think you will." Mumbo smiled "What I have planned for you makes me so happy, I feel like singing!"
The six of us were set free as a spot light shined on Mumbo Jumbo. The six of us ran at him before becoming frozen mid air.
"Don't bother getting up" Mumbo sang walking past us and grabbing Robyn's cheek "You're in my control"
  "No way for you to fuss and fight" He said pulling out a hand full of cards  "I've taken all your powers So, lucky you" He turned the cards around to show us pictures of our animal selves "You will be in my show tonight"
  Mumbo threw the cards having them surround us before they started to put outfits on us. I looked down at the black dress I wore and rolled my eyes.
  "You think you can defeat me Oh, how very droll!" Mumbo sang as a hand grabbed me and threw me on top of Rave before Cy landed on me. I popped my head up as a giant makeup brush started patting our faces  "Well, Titans, one thing you should know:
I am the one with magic powers 'round here I am the one who runs the show!"
"I am the master of ceremonies
So let me set you straight" I watched Mumbo start applying makeup on his face before his mirror image came out, his magic was giving me a headache "With just a wave of my magic wand, I'm... Master of your fate!"
  "With just some hocus-pocus and sleight of hand" Mumbo continued to sing after we got out of our outfits to our normal ones, gloves then surrounded us "You all are under my command! Put them in their cages. Keep them all apart!" I was suddenly shifted up by a girl version of Mumbo and placed in a cage "Places, everybody
The show's about to start!"
  As voices continued to sing the six of us where all set down in different sized cages in a circle formation.

  "Now for the greatest grand finale
And the reason why you're here:" Mumbo let out in a belting singing voice "Tonight, I will make the titans Disappear! forever!"
  My eyes widened as I looked around at the others. So that was his plan all along, take our powers away then finish us. I reached next to me grabbing Rave's paw.
"We need to do something or else the Titans are finished." I spoke looking around furiously.
"Perhaps." Bolt started, pausing to scratch his ear "If we work together we can find a way to stop him"
"He's taken our powers and turned us into animals and a lamp." Rave sighed squeezing my paw "How can we stop this maniac when he's holding all the cards?"
  Before anyone could answer a hook reached down and grabbed Cy's cage. We all watched as she was lifted up towards the stage. We tired to discuss a plan each time someone was taken out nothing seemed to coming up. After Beast Girl was placed back down I was next. I looked over at Rave as my paw slipped from his.
  "This little lady is next." Mumbo chuckled as fire formed in his palm "Watch as I knock the apples off over her head and arms with these fire arrows."
  I froze still as arrows shot in my direction one looked like it would hit my face before it flew up, each one piercing an apple. As the flame went by my head I was surprised I couldn't feel it. Maybe since my DNA has been changed he couldn't take my protective skin away from me. So I was still fire proof.
  I was lowered back down before Rave was lifted up. I looked at my boyfriend in worry, he was the last act before we disappeared.
  "Come on Titans!" Robyn said "Think!"
None of us could think of a way out as Rave was placed back down next to me. A voice spoke saying five minutes tell the final act.
"You heard the man." Cy yelled "Five minutes til poof!"
"Maybe this is just a trick." BG said "Mumbo just being Mumbo."
"This all seems to real." Bolt cried hugging himself "Too real to me to be a trick."
"Bolts right." Rave spoke catching my eyes "Whatever happens in here is real, even if it is a trick."
I scanned the room around us looking for something before tapping Rave's arm and pointing at some paint cans. He studied them for a moment before smirking.
"Good eye Y/N." He said with a faint smile "Robyn use your tail to grab those paint cans. Beast Girl can you turn into a paint brush. I got an idea."
After paint cover us all from the front half we could see each other. This was a world of magic so it made sense for the paint to cause us to look invisible. A moment later the hatches above us opened and we were lifted on stage behind a curtain.
"Now what you've all been waiting for! My final act! I shall make the Teen Titans disappear!" The curtain opened and Mumbo froze "I don't understand.. they were just here"
He walked over to Rave's cage and opened it before leaning down. Mumbo was kicked back before doves surrounded us and we were back in the real world. Mumbo looked at us in terror before making a dash towards the exit of the bank. Robyn three a birdarang stopping the magician as Mumbo's hat fell off. I smirked as Robyn handcuffed Mumbo.
"H-how? My magic!" Mumbo yelled as Rave picked up his hat "You gotta tell me! How did you escape."
"A magician." Rave smirked as I hugged him from behind, popping my head from behind his arm to look at Mumbo. Rave placed Mumbo's hat on his head "Never reveals his secrets."
I smiled widely watching the teal magician be taken away before looking up at my boyfriend.
"I'm glad we are back to normal." I chuckled "But I will admit. Bunny you was cute."
Rave sent me a glare as I giggled kissing his cheek. It was great to be human again. I grabbed Rave's hand before running to the T-car, my boyfriend looked at me in worry.
"Come on guys!" I yelled "I have a horror movie to finish!"

Sorry this took so long! Was actually a hard chapter to write. Yes the reader is a meerkat because I thought I would be a different kind of animal instead of something normal or basic. Hope you enjoyed!!
