Chapter 34 Mafia Game

Y/N's pov

  "You want to play what?" I questioned as Bolt dragged me out of my room "Mafia? Isn't that like an organization who commits crimes?"
  "Precisely!" Bolt smiled "It is a game I found while scrolling through what you humans call the web! I thought it would be fun before Cy goes to visit the Titans East tomorrow."
  I just nodded my head as I allowed Bolt to lead me towards the main room. Everyone was sitting in a circle on the floor as Robyn was reading something on her communicator and Rave shuffled cards with magic.
  "Okay guys I think I get the game." Robyn said once I sat next to Rave "So there is a Doctor, citizens, and mafia players. The mafia kills someone at night, the doctor can heal anyone including themselves. But can only heal themselves every other turn. Once the night is over everyone wakes up and tries to figure out who the mafia is and execute them. Citizens goal is to stop the mafia and the mafias goal is to kill everyone."
  "Won't you have an advantage?" I asked looking at my leader "Since you are a detective?"
  "Yes." Robyn said "That's why I'll be playing the game master. Basically telling each role when to wake up and tapping the person who died."
  "This sounds fun." Beast Girl said "I'm gonna kick your ass Cy!"
  "We'll see!" Cy smirked "I was beating you in super smash bros earlier! You really think you can beat me in this?"
"Okay is there are three types of cards." Robyn said holding an ace up "if you're the ace you are the mafia, queen you are the doctor, any number card you are just a citizen. Okay everyone grab a card and don't show anyone."
Robyn placed cards face down in front of each of us. I looked down at my card for a moment, the ace. Guess I was the mafia.
"Heads down." Robyn spoke as we closed our eyes "Mafia wake up." I sat up smirking at my leader "Pick a target to kill." I looked around at my friends before pointing at my boyfriend. "Mafia head down. Doctor wake up." After a minute Robyn told us all to wake up "The mafia did try to strike last night but luckily the doctor saved the person. Talk for a moment."
I noticed the smirk on BG's face when Robyn had talked about the doctor. If BG didn't save herself next round then she should be my next target.
"Anyone have any ideas." Robyn asked "Who the mafia is?"
"Y/N's being quiet." BG pointed out "She hadn't spoken this entire time."
"Huh? Oh sorry.." I said trying to act embarrassed "I was just thinking. Also I did feel Bolt move around once the mafia was called."
"I had an itch!" Bolt cried "I couldn't of killed anyone."
"It's always the nicest ones you expect least." Cy said "I'm voting for Bolt."
"Okay guys who are you voting for?" Robyn asked
BG voted for me, I held one finger up. Rave voted for Bolt along with me and Cy. Bolt held up three fingers before voting for BG.
"One, one, three." Robyn said "I'm sorry Bolt you have been executed. Show us your card."
Bolt flipped over his three of hearts before moving over towards Robyn to watch the rest of the game. Robyn once again asked the mafia to wake up, I smiled happily as I lifted my head. Bolt looked at me in shock as I pointed at BG. Once the doctor saved someone again everyone sat up.
  "Looks like the doctor saved a life once more." Robyn said "Stopping the Mafia once again. Who could it be?"
  "I say Y/N again." BG spoke "She argued with me last time then tired to kill me."
  "Robyn never said who almost died." Cy said "You could only know that if you where the mafia or doctor."
  "She could be saying this so we think she's the doctor." I said "I'm voting BG again. You Rave?"
  "Right now both you and BG are suspects in my eyes." He sighed looking at me in boredom "But I'll go with BG."
  "You're just saying that since you don't want to believe your girlfriend is the bad guy." BG cried in anger "No fair!"
  "I'll just go with the majority." Cy said "Sorry BG."
  Beast Girl growled showing us the queen of diamonds in her hand. Rave and Cy turned to me as I smirked. The doctor was now gone and that meant I won next round.
  "Mafia!" Robyn called "Who do you pick to kill?"
  I looked up smiling at BG before pointing at Cy. Beast Girl might of lasted longer if she had just stayed quiet and maybe I wouldn't of just won.
  "Cy was killed by the mafia." Robyn chuckled "Meaning the mafia won. Flip your cards."
  "I told you it was her!" BG yelled pointing a finger at me "Wait Y/N, that means you tired to kill Rave first."
  "Yup." I giggled poking Rave's cheek "If you hadn't of saved him he would of died, no one would of expected me to kill my boyfriend first. This was fun!"
  "Should I be offended?" Rave asked nudging my arm against his "That you tired to kill me first."
  "Nothing personal." I winked at him "I just hate losing."
  Rave rolled his eyes before we all got up and headed in our own directions. Once in the hallway heading towards my room I stopped walking causing Rave to pause.
  "No hard feelings." I smiled kissing his lips quickly "Do you want to come read with me?"
  "Should I trust a killer?" He questioned with a small smirk on his face "Sure come on idiot."
  I rolled my eyes at that nickname before grabbing Rave's hand and started to walk in the direction of my room.
