Chapter 9 Home

Y/N's pov

I hissed as my head was pulled out of the water, staring at the people hiding behind masks. It had been like this for I don't know how long now, day after day, test after test.
"Skin still wet." One of them stated "Subject 001 is still not water resistant."
"What the fuck is wrong with you people!" I yelled "You're sick!"
Another needle was shoved in my neck before my head was once more pushed under the water. I screamed and tried to fight against the hand in my hair. I head was pulled up once again when sirens went off. The door to the lab was suddenly thrown open and I smiled at who I saw.
Black magic threw the people holding me away as Robyn ran in my direction. She started to work on the cuffs as Rave kept throwing the people in white suits around the room in anger. Once I was free I slowly stood up before running to Rave, his powers where out of control as he angrily threw people. I wrapped my arms tightly around him as he slowly relaxed in my arms holding me back. His hands squeezed my waist as I held tightly onto him.
  "I'm okay." I muttered "You need to calm down Rave."
  He sighed before turning to Robyn who was hacking into one of the mainframes. Once she downloaded something onto a flash drive, Rave teleported us home.
  "Y/N!" Bolt yelled once he saw me "You're okay!"
  My best friend flew in my direction before hugging me tightly. I smiled up at him before looking at the others.
  "Cy can you run some tests on me?" I asked "They injected me with something the numbed my powers."
  "Yeah girl." She smiled "Glad to see you back."
  "Hey guys?" I asked walking into the kitchen to get some water "Why's the toaster and microwave broken?"
  "Someone was very worried about you." BG chuckled "Kept letting their powers destroy everything."
  "Shut up." Rave growled "I was just worried for a team mate nothing else."
  "Sure." BG giggled "Keep saying that."
  I sighed as Robyn tried to stop Rave from killing BG. It was great to be home.
