Chapter 57 Still Stuck With Doom Patrol

(I'm kinda shocked that this book is almost a year and a half years old now! Also apparently the female name I gave BG is like the same meaning as Garfield from the original show..?)

Y/N's pov

I knelt down after finding some dry sticks and lit a fire as the Titans and I stood under the T-ship with the doom patrol. Cy having set up some tarps to keep everyone dry as the rain poured.
"For as long as there has been a doom patrol we have fought the brotherhood of evil." The leader Mento spoke.
  I should of been paying attention since I had never heard of either group but I couldn't get rid of the thought that this guy was named after a gum and mint brand. I sighed drawing in the dirt as Mento explained who everyone was in the brotherhood of evil only halfway listening.. they need a better team name.. Brotherhood of Evil is kinda boring..
  "You alright Y/N?" Robyn spoke from above me "You seem kind of out of it.."
  "Oh I'm fine! I promise." I smiled weakly before standing up. I looked down at what I had drawn before blushing. A heart with and R and a (F/N/I) was carved into the dirt. I quickly moved my foot over it covering the drawing with dirt before anyone especially Rave saw it.
  "Mento are you sure? All these mountains look the same?" I looked over at the others confused as Cy and Mento were looking at a screen.
  "I read the brains mind before they got away." Mento spoke "I know where he's doing hiding and it's in those mountains!" He then turned to look at his team "Doom Patrol listen up! Every moment we waste sitting here doing nothing gives the brain more time to finish the quantum generator! It's time to move out!"
  "What about air defenses?" Cy asked a friend permanently stuck on Mento's face. He really annoyed me.. "We get anywhere close they'll shoot us down!"
  "That's why we are going on foot and by we I mean the Doom Patrol." I watched Mento drop a mask in BG's hands "All of us."
  "Beast Girl is apart of our team!" Robyn growled clenching her fists "We are going with her!"
  "You kids have no idea what we are up against." Cliff spoke.
  "An evil scientist working on experiments that could destroy the world.." I sighed crossing my arms "Trust me we know. And you could use all the help you can get."
  "Listen up little girl! The runt was in the doom patrol-"
  "I don't care! She could of been in the fucking Justice League and I wouldn't of cared!" I yelled causing the others to freeze "Listen we are going to help! Beast Girl may of been apart of your team first but she's apart of ours now! Teammates don't leave others behind!"
  "I'm sorry Y/N.." BG spoke before turning to Mento "I'll go."
  "Beast girl-"
  "Don't worry guys!" She smiled as the Doom Patrol ran into the rain "I'll be fine!"
  I watched her run further away vanishing in the trees and bushes. Sighing I sat back on the ground as Robyn started coming up with a plan.
An hour or so had passed since BG had left and we were in the T-Ship flying when a quick communication form her came in. As soon as we heard her voice it was gone.
"Beast Girl!" Robyn called "Do you respond?"
"Mento probably did something to stop it.." I sighed looking my window "Guys to the right look! Smoke!"
  "The Doom Patrol probably was over there. We should check it out." Cy spoke before changing our course towards the right.
We landed close to the smoke area before running throw the mass of trees. I skidded to a stop once I saw the scene in front of me. Robot Man was knocked out under some giant machine that seemed to have been destroyed. Did his team really leave him? I ran towards the fallen robot with the others close behind before Bolt lifted the destroyed machine off of Robot Man.
"Cy I think you're going to have to reboot him again." I sighed as Bolt helped me lean Robot Man against a nearby tree "I can't believe they left him! What kind of team does that?"
"Y/N different teams work in different ways." Robyn spoke from behind me.
"But it's wrong!" I yelled clenching my fists "If you guys had left me when Blood had captured me I'd be dead! You know this! I refuse to let anyone be left or abandoned by their team!"
  "That hurt.." A voice spoke from behind me I turned to see Robot Man awake "They were watching us. The brotherhood!"
  "Then the rest of your companions could be in the trouble!" Bolt answered in worry "We must hurry!"
Robyn nodded her head before ordering us to move out. We made our way out of the jungle towards the desert plains surrounding the mountains. A large area towards our far left was pouring out smoke and dust from a shallow ravine.
  My teammates and I made our way over to the ravine as some one cried fit help. Once entering the area we spotted negative man's body on the ground as the female voice continued calling from a faint pile of rocks a little bit aways.
  "His soul was out of his body for too long." Robot man yelling running over to negative man with Robyn and Rave.
  As they worked on helping him I made my way to the female voice spotting Elasti Girl caught under few pieces of fallen rocks. I ran over trying to lift any of the debris off of her but it was too much for my normal strength.
  "Bolt! Cy! Please help me get her out of here!" I called to my two friends both of them being able to lift more then I could.
They each ran over standing on either side of me before lifting up the rock. I knelt down wrapping my arms around Elasti Girl and pulling her out before the giant pieces of rock were dropped.
  "You alright?" I spoke looking up at the brown haired women receiving a faint nod "What happened?"
  "Ambush.." Elasti Girl coughed as I helped her sit down "They knew what to do from the very start.."
  "The brain must have friend Beast Girl and Mento."
  "Most likely." I sighed with a nod at Bolt "Rave! How's Negative Man?"
"I'm aright now.." His voice spoke as I turned to see Robyn helping him up
"Are you two going to be alright?"
"We should be." Elasti Girl answered Robyn as she pulled away from me standing up slowly "We need to get to Mento and Beast Girl!"
  "Let's go kick some ass and save BG and Mint Guy!" Everyone turned to me raising an eyebrow "Not my fault he named himself after a mint and gum company!"
"Let's get moving team!" Robyn demanded ignoring my comment I thought it was funny.. "Titans Go!"
  Me made our way quickly to the coordinates of the brotherhoods lair. The defenses seemed to of been preoccupied inside the building from the loud noises coming from there and the lack of robots outside.
  Cy lifted up her arm and blew the door down before we piled into the building everyone's eyes turning to us. I smiled lighting my hands on fire and getting ready to fight
"I should warn you. We're not so good at doing what we're told." Robyn spoke walking forward
"I'll let it slide." Mento smirked at us. The man doesn't only have an annoyed or angry face. Nice to know. "Let's do this!"
I ran towards a few of the robots burning them to nothing as I attacked. I didn't take long for all the bits to be destroyed before the brain started to speck. I growled when I saw the gorilla holding BG in his hand. I really should of been listening when Mento explained who was who! He threw her down luckily Elasti Girl caught her in time.
The brain started to glow green as he started to show us how the black hole machine worked. A screen appearing as he spoke
"Any place I chose is mine to destroy." I bit my lip when a certain building appeared on the screen " perhaps this one."
"No! He's targeting the tower!" Cy yelled as she took a step closer
"Not just the tower." Rave spoke lifting his hand up to point at the display "The entire city."
"Titans!"
"Doom Patrol!"
"Go!"
"Attack!"
More robots were set free as the gorilla and black haired women came our way. I used my powers to propel myself into the air before knocking down three robots with my flames.
"Let's go guys!" BG yelled as I finished off another robot I looked up to see the target had changed "Unless you want to see the inside of a black hole!"
Rave destroyed a bot coming up from behind me before I was lifted up in his arms. I clung onto him as the doom patrol and my team made our way out of the building. I smiled happily watching the brotherhood of evils tower get sucked up and destroyed by a black hole before us disappeared.
"You kids..." Mento spoke later on when both teams stood outside their ships "You Titans did okay."
"You're welcome.."
I rolled my eyes at Rave's comment as I smiled. I was just happy everyone was okay for now. I had the feeling this wasn't going to end any time soon.
Negative man and Mento both pointed out how the brain was most likely already working on his next plan.
"But now we'll have help." Mento nodded at us before we said our goodbyes.
  "Stay safe Reet."
  I raised an eyebrow at the name falling from Elasti Girl's lips as she hugged BG. That was her real name? I kinda like it.
  "Reet?" Cy questioned as the doom patrol left before smirking. She's never going to live this one down.
"Y/N." Rave grabbed my attention as we walked to the T ship. I looked up at him confused as a small smirk decorated his face "R plus (F/NI) hmm?"
"You save that!" I yelled causing the others to turn to me in worry as my face started to heat up "I m-mean s-shut up!"
He gently ruffled my hair as he walked past me and towards his seat. That damn teaser!
