Peter softly exhaled as he sank down to his knees on the ledge of a rooftop. He shifted his position so his legs were dangling on the edge but not in a way that would strike fear or worry into the heart of a being. Just, in a more chill way.

Peter pulled the mask off his face taking in a deep breath as he waited for his Spidey senses to pick up the next criminal activity. Using the peaceful time, or as peaceful as one with super hearing can get to his advantage, he remained silent enjoying the night skyline.

It wasn't until five minutes later his senses began to blare and he heard a male voice threaten a younger female's. Peter sighed quickly getting to his feet, crime really didn't sleep. But then again, that was the reason he was here for.

He swung a web out and landed right in front of the man with a come-back line, "You know it's true when they say that crime doesn't pay. Guess that's why you must resort to petty thefts."

He found his quip quite hilarious, however, the man standing tall and gave off threatening vibes did not, instead replying, "Go home kid, this is adult matters only."

Peter scoffed, 'Uh, hello? The name literally implies. Spiderman." He turned to the woman speaking quickly, "Run!"

The woman quickly obliged not even looking back once. The man, angry that he lost another victim charged forwards towards Peter who quickly moved out of the way. His senses screamed danger, a hidden danger that he couldn't quite see.

Peter dodged the man's attacks, throwing punches only to defend, or do enough damage to keep him down. The man, however, didn't look like he was going to give up anytime soon, instead, snarling as he reached behind his pocket to pull out a metallic piece.

Peter didn't see the blade, he only saw the man running at him, and sending him against a concrete wall. He didn't see the blade enter his abdomen, but he felt something very sharp pierce his side. Peter felt the wet, metallic taste in his mouth which he could only presume to be blood, not that it could have been anything else either.

Peter bit down hard to mute his scream as the blade was dug deeper into his side to the point where he could feel it against his organs. The thought of that was enough to make him sick. He groaned, getting stabbed hurt. The man smirked, satisfied that the hero wouldn't be able to catch him took off, leaving Peter alone in the alleyway.

Peter groaned, trying to calm himself down before he spiraled into a panic attack. He huffed as his anxiety erupted, "KAREN, please call Mister Stark." He didn't get a response but within seconds saw Mister Stark on the screen.

Tony asked worriedly, usually, it was KAREN who had to call, never Peter because he'd come up with some lame excuse about how he felt bad or like a burden. So that meant that something bad must have happened, "Peter, is something wrong?"

Peter spoke quickly with panic laced in his tone, "Mister Stark, it hurts."

A dozen thoughts coursed through Tony's brain, and none of them were good as he asked, "I'll be there in five, what happened?"

Peter replied in a shaky voice as he swallowed, struggling to keep his anxiety down, "I got stabbed. Stupid robber. I'm sorry."

Tony shook his head, "Kiddo, why are you apologizing? It's not like you stabbed yourself. I'm almost there, take deep breaths, buddy. You're going to be okay."

Peter whimpered at Tony felt his heartstrings tug, "Please hurry Mister Stark, it hurts so much." Tony nodded, using every ounce of power he had to get there quickly. "I'm coming bud. Nearly there."

Sticking true to his five minute promise Peter heard the soft thudding of boots indicating Mister Stark was here. Peter's mask was still covering his face for two reasons, one the obvious secret identity, but to also hide the fear and panic scrawled over his face.

Tony knelt besides Peter, carefully pulling up his mask heart aching at the pained expression painted over Peter's features. He smiled gently, "You're going to be okay buddy. I promise. Bruce will fix you right up. Now I got to lift you up, keep the blade in, it'll hurt less trust me. Alright?"

Peter weakly nodded as Tony scooped him up. Biting back a scream he leaned into Tony's suit fighting himself to stay awake. Tony looked down rubbing the back of his head softly, "You gotta stay awake for me buddy, okay?"

Peter mumbled, "I'll try Mister Stark."

Tony pressed a soft kiss on the top of Peter's head, "You're doing great buddy. You'll be okay, I promise."

He had already alerted Bruce of the situation so he could prep what he needed. He landed softly, gently placing Peter on the bed. Bruce spoke quickly, "I got the sedates and the painkillers." Which was all in a needle? Peter froze at the looming sight of needles, squeezed Tony's hand.

Tony who knew of Peter's fear of needles directed his head towards him, "Hey, eyes on me. You're going to be okay. You're fine. I've got you."

And it was Tony's voice that lured the boy unconscious without any worry because his dad wasn't going to let anything happen to him.
