The sun's light beamed on my forehead, agad akong napabangon sa silaw at sakit ng ulo. I took the medicine that was on the side table and gently massaged my temple. When I gazed at the wall clock, awtomatiko akong napatayo at kumuha ng towel at nagmadaling maligo.

Fuck it, I'm late.

I was busy buttoning up my uniform nang lumabas ako ng kwarto. Arus was cooking some spam while Apollo was on the sofa. They looked like they didn't even have a hangover. Ang titigas.

"Wow, daddy," Arus chuckled when he saw me putting on my ID. He placed some cooked and almost burnt spams on the plate. "Kain ka na, anak."

I sat and took some rice while Apollo was already brewing coffees for the three of us. I was chewing my food quickly, tinitingnan na ako ng dalawa nang nakangisi but I just ignored them.

"San ba tayo magcu-clubbing next week?" Arus asked before he stuffed his mouth with rice.

"Sa malapit lang siguro," Apollo shrugged.

My bows furrowed. Kakainom lang namin kagabi, ah? I sighed and stood up to place my plate on the sink. Bumalik na ako sa kwarto para ligpitin ang mga gamit ko nang mabilisan, sinabit ko sa balikat ko ang bag habang pumipili ng sasakyang gagamitin. I just grabbed the key of my Rover tsaka lumabas na ng kwarto.

"Observe cleanliness!" I shouted at them before leaving my condo.

"Roger!" Apollo shouted back.

When I entered the room, I was beyond relieved when the prof wasn't there. David's brows furrowed and told me that our prof was absent, nagkasakit.

"Hindi mo ba nakita? Inannounce sa gc," he said.

Umiling lang ako tsaka tiningnan ang messages. Steffani really did announce that the prof will be absent, I just didn't bother opening my messages when I woke up because I panicked when I saw the time. I already finished reading their conversations when a notification popped out.

I opened it and pressed her profile, it was a picture of her while she's in a beach.

Before I could even do something on my phone, David suddenly pressed the accept button. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin pero tumatawa siya at patuloy na nang-aasar. I was about to hit him with my binder but he pointed at my phone while his other hand was trying to protect his face from the binder.

"Bro, may nag chat! Tingnan mo dms mo oh!" sabi niya habang umiilag pa rin.

Ibinaba ko na ang binder at tiningnan ang dms ko. I don't really get messages here because I don't have many people to talk to at kung meron man, sa text ko sila kadalasang nakakausap. I don't even use this instagram app but Arus would use my account to like his own posts.

My brows furrowed when I saw her message. Should I tell her that I wasn't really the one who invited her? But she might get offended? She really looks excited about it, nakapagpaalam na siya agad ah. So I guess I'll be left with no choice? I sighed.
