"Well, guess what birthday boy, you just passed the engineering exam!" Dad exclaimed when I answered his call.

"Oh. Okay," I lazily said in a low tone. I'm still tired as fuck. Madaling araw na kaming natulog nila Arus. We really had many time to play xbox, tumigil lang kami nang nakita na namin ang pagsikat nang araw.

"You don't sound so surprised, huh? The confidence!" Dad laughed. "Anyway, get ready for your birthday tomorrow alright? We'll spend your day in boracay."

"Copy, thanks Dad. Bye." I said and ended the call.

I slept for two more hours. Nagising lang ako sa ingay ng pinapatugtog nina Arus. My stomach also groaned, waiting to be filled. I stood up and went out of my room. It's still fucking 10 in the morning.

"wtf?" I asked them, pronouncing every letters. They were watching kdrama at the living room. The OST of it fucking woke me up.

Arus looked at me and raised a brow. "What the fuck?"

"What I mean was what's the food," I rolled my eyes.

He also rolled his eyes, mocking me. "Edi tingnan mo sa kusina, ano bang silbi ng mga matang yan?"

"Makapanood ng porn," sabat ni Apollo. They both laughed. I shook my head.

I went to the kitchen and ate my lunch, or breakfast. Hitting two birds with one stone, huh. I was chewing the steak when my phone beeped. Dream's message popped out.

Happy birthday! More birthdays to come, more candles to blow, more cakes to eat!

To: Dream

Tomorrow's my birthday. No, not today.

From: Dream

Ay haha ba't ko kinanta last sentence. And yup, alam ko. Sinadya ko lang kasi expire na load ko bukas HAHAHAHAHA

To: Dream

Anyway, pack your things. Bring your friends, you're invited on my birthday. Boracay.

Yes, daddy.

My forehead creased at her message. I didn't reply. Instead, I finished my food and went to my room to prepare my things. I spent the whole day preparing for my birthday. I didn't invite many people, just the ones that are close to me.

I slept early and made an alarm. Finally, I'll be able to see the waves again. Maaga akong nagising kinabukasan hindi dahil sa alarm ko, kundi sa ingay ng katok at sigaw ni Arus!

"Fuck," I uttered before I messed with my hair and opened the door.

"Happy birthday!" They shouted and Apollo blew something that made a squeezing sound.

"Hala, pano nga ulit 'to," Arus checked the party popper and tried to make it pop. The fucking dumb Arus twisted it while the opening was directed at my face... I felt the fucking confetti all over my face. Apollo sighed.

"Tangang 'to," Apollo shook his head in dismay. Napakamot si Arus sa likod ng ulo niya.

"What a fucking surprise, naiiyak ako grabe," I told them. Hindi ko alam maiiyak ba ako sa tuwa o sa gulat o sa kabobohan ni Arus. "That was a blast!" I sarcastically said and glanced at Arus. Nag peace sign siya at nagngiting aso.

"Awit, bro. Nakalimutan naming bumili ng cake eh, masarap naman siguro ang confetti?" Arus tried to joke.

"Yeah. Sa sobrang sarap, parang gusto ko na ring matikman mo," I lazily said.
