Right after what happened, Venus and I kept our mouths closed so our tongues wouldn't slip. After that day, we didn't stop strolling around Japan. Luckily, none of the crew would notice our sudden disappearance. Or maybe they do, but just didn't care.

We may roam around the city but we never forget our task--helping the victims. We just finish our task faster before any other crew kaya may nalalabing oras pa kami para makapagpasyal. Nang nalagay na namin nang maayos ang mga walang lamang kahon sa truck ay nagkatinginan kami ni Venus at tinanguan ang isa't isa.

On the second day of our distribution, Venus and I roamed around the scramble  square, but we know that we should immediately go back as soon as we can to avoid any trouble. The damaged infrastractures and the broken roads were still being fixed but they're doing a lot of progress, and so are we. Moving from one place to another for our distribution gave me and Venus a good opportunity to roam around even more. Pabago-bago na rin ang pinapasyalan namin dahil sa pagpalipat-lipat.

When we were done in scramble square, we immediately went inside the taxi and let Venus talk to the driver. She mentioned a place in which the driver nodded. Both of us were quiet the whole ride, no one would bother to initiate a conversation or break the silence. Nang nakarating kami ay inabot ko sa driver ang bayad. It was just cheap.

Venus dragged me into the mall when we stepped out of the taxi. Hinayaan ko nalang siya at tumingin-tingin nalang rin sa paligid. It was huge. The interior is impressive and the architectural design is well-crafted. Venus suggested that we should go to the clothing line so I just agreed and followed her.

"Brave, I think we should buy this," giit ni Venus habang itinataas ang hawak na hoodie.

Umiling ako. "They would notice that we left because of that."

She slowly nodded and began thinking. She tapped my shoulder repeatedly nang may naisip. "What about we'll reason out that a resident gave this to us since she was very thankful for the relief goods?"

"You're quite clever," I chuckled and shook my head while looking at some jackets on the stalls.

"So, what now? Do you agree or not?"

"Just buy for yourself and use that reason. I'm cool with window shopping," I shrugged and flipped the price of the white jacket.

"Okay. Whatever you say," she nodded and went to the counter. Nang matapos niya na 'yong mabayaran ay sandali naming inikot ang second floor. We weren't able to completely roam around since we don't have much time left. When I glanced at my rolex watch, I realized that we've been strolling for 40 minutes. Agad kong inaya si Venus na bumalik na kami at tumango naman siya nang nakita ang oras.

"Why do you have a hoodie with you?" The head of the volunteering team asked when we were about to enter the service. Fortunately, we just made it on time. Pasakay pa lang rin ang mga kasama namin nang dumating kami.

Venus simply shrugged and touched the hoodie that was on her arm. "A resident suddenly gave this, probably thankful for the relief goods," dire-diretso niyang pagsisinungaling.

The head just nodded and smiled. "Japanese people are really kind. They also gave the flight lieutenant a black boots."

Walang pakialam na tumango si Venus. Nang umupo na ako sa tabi niya ay isinuot niya ang hoodie. Pa-simple siyang tumingin sa paligid bago dumungaw sa'kin at bumulong.

"I told you they won't think of something if you'll buy something for yourself." bulong niya. "Just be good at lying."

"You're a bad influence," I raised a brow.
