Prologue

It was six in the evening when Minatozaki Sana got cornered by the three guys in a school field.

She wanted to blame Momo for leaving her alone just to purchase a portion of food to eat, but none of them would think that these idiots would appear.

"Come on Sana, I know you want to have fun" the skinny guy spoke while walking forward to her, and Sana stepped backward.

"Leave me alone" Despite being intimidated, Sana shows some irritation to mask her fear and hopes they will just leave her alone.

The fat guy laughed but was immediately stopped when the skinny guy smacked his head.

"Come on Sana, you're too sexy to be just a show. Let's have some fun" the buff guy grins as she touches Sana's shoulder.

Sana shivers from fear and disgust.

Maybe...

Just maybe... she won't be able to reach back home alive and safe.

She closed her eyes as she prevented herself from crying, praying to God that someone would come and show up to see her situation like this.

It's fucking six in the evening, and there were only a few students left here right now. Sana can't catch sight of anyone around.

'Fuck, where's Momo?' She thought.

"I said leave me alone... please" It came out as a whisper as she felt her knees weaken from trembling. But they only laughed at her.

"Just for one night, Sana, and we'll leave--FUCK!" the buff guy suddenly swore when he felt something hit on the back of his head.

Sana opened her eyes and saw the guys looking at the back of their buff friend.

As Sana followed their line of vision,

She saw a mysterious girl, wearing a black cap with a black hoodie on it and gray fitted jogging pants,

She walks towards them with a baseball bat in her hand, swinging it casually.

The girl looks so relaxed as she walks towards them.

Sana felt scared for her, scared that the girl might get into this trouble too,

But felt a little relieved at the same time because of a weird comforting feeling when the girl approached them.

She's an inch shorter than Sana, but the way she stands in front of them gives off an aura of supremacy and authority.

Sana noticed that the girl had mono-lidded sharp dark eyes, cold yet cautious, pointed nose, and pink plump lips.

"Why did you fucking hit my head?!" The buff guy shouted at the mono-lidded girl, bringing Sana back to reality.

Sana flinched at that.

'Oh no, this is wrong', Sana thought.

But instead of reacting to him, the mono-lidded-eyed girl just adjusted the baseball bat, placing it over her shoulder.

Then she looked up to face the buff guy, with the two guys beside him,

She was a little short to face these guys, yet she stood there firm.

Sana didn't even realize that she had been holding her breath. She's way more scared for this girl, but she's way too calm despite being in this horrible situation.

Is she that naive?

"Ah... that? I accidentally tossed the ball here since my friend failed to capture it," she said with a nonchalant tone.

The buff guy gritted his teeth, jaw clenched. He wasn't pleased with her explanation.

The girl wasn't even fazed at all, she didn't care. Instead, she just turned to look at Sana.

The Japanese girl froze when the girl looked intensely into her hazel brown eyes from her dark mesmerizing eyes.
It was some sort of telepathic communication that she knew what was going on.

"Then go away and leave, or else you will regret being here!" The buff guy threatens the mono-lidded girl.

Sana's heartbeat fastened, her anxiety increasing.

Is she going to leave? What will they do to her? To them?

The mono-lidded girl looked up to the buff guy,

Slowly,  she took off her black cap, making her hoodie drop and reveal her ash-gray hair.

Sana stood baffled when she noticed how the guys suddenly flinched after seeing the girl's face.

"And if I don't?" she said coldly and saw how the buff guy's eyes widened, stepping backward and almost stumbling.

Sana got way more confused now.

'What is going on?' she thought.

"I...I'm sorry, Da--" but the mono-lidded girl immediately cut him off.

"Leave,"

and to Sana's shock,

They all started to run, leaving Sana and the mysterious mono-lidded girl who just saved her life.

Sana wanted to speak but no words came out, it felt like her tongue got tied in a knot.

The mono-lidded girl looked at her, eyes unreadable. Then she said,

"Don't walk around alone"

And after that, she adjusted and wore her black cap before leaving.

Sana wanted to follow and thank her, but she couldn't move her feet. She was still stunned by what happened.

So all Sana could do was watch the mono-lidded-eyed girl's back figure, walking away as she slowly disappeared out of her sight.

And until now, Sana still carries on those words from the mysterious hero who saved her.

'Don't walk around alone...

Sana hopes that she will meet those beautiful mono-lidded eyes again,

And Sana badly wants to know one thing,

Who is she?
