"Wow, so reassuring that is!" Lukas says, looking at the cliff below them. "Who's going first?" Petra asks, dryly laughing. "Aim for the water..?" Jesse says, uncertainly, running his hands through his disheveled hair. He then takes a deep breath, getting a running head start before jumping off. There was that brief sensation of falling, before his body slammed into the water. The others followed, safely landing in the water. "We're almost out? of here. Then it should be a straight shot home." Lukas says, gripping his bow tight. "What are we going to tell the others?" Jesse says, grimly. "That we went on one hell of an adventure, that's what." Petra says, not noticing the invisible string under them. She stumbles through it, falling to the ground but getting up quickly, unscathed. "What...Was that?" She asks, taking out her sword. Everyone knew that Petra wasn't the kind of person who'd trip over their own feet. (Unlike Jesse.)
They barely had time to react before hearing the unmistakable hiss of a deadly explosive called TNT. Or, worse, some kind of other deadly explosive, guaranteed to blow your brains sky within a 10 feet radius. "Run!" Jesse yelled, diving towards a broken stone wall to take cover.
Petra ran towards what she'd thought was the exit, but the warrior had reacted too late.
Lukas and Jesse were curled up behind the stone wall. Petra ran towards the exit, heart racing as she moved to avoid the blast but she was a step too slow. With a loud thundering explosion, she was sent flying across the air. She was slammed into the wall, pain surging in her chest, breaking some of her ribs. She fell to the floor, landing on her head, smacking against the unforgiving stone floor.Chunks of matter flew everywhere, raining down on Petra, curled up in a small ball waiting for the explosion to stop. The temple shook, crumbling apart. Jesse watched everything unfold, while Lukas was hugging his knees to his chest, covering his ears. Petra tried to get up, her chest objecting as she felt waves of pain, surging through her chest. Her ears were ringing, as she stumbled to the ground, blood seeping out of her chest as well as her head. "Petra!" Lukas and jesse screamed in unison. Jesse alternated between feeling nervous and shocked. Shocked at how someone so strong could be taken down by a false step. Nervous at the ever increasing pool of blood the limp redhead was lying in. "Oh my shit. Is she dead?!" Lukas asked, as Jesse gently pressed his two fingers against her neck. Petra bolts upright, pushing his fingers off. "Do I look dead to you?" She asks, weakly, still managing to scowl. "Guys, we've got to go! Now!" Jesse yells, yanking Petra's hands, forgetting the explosives knocked the living daylight out of her. The ceiling made an unsettling noise, slowly crumbling, chunks of stone falling everywhere . Petra screams in agony. "Be gentle!" Lukas hisses, scooping up Petra in his arms. Petra tries to object, but only accomplishes a weak groan. The temple collapses, leaving a pile of stone and dust. Lukas places Petra on a tree stump, who was coughing. Jesse stared at her, concerned. "I'm...Fine..." Petra says, in between coughing fits. Petra coughed into her hands, feeling them fill up with a warm, sticky substance. Horrified, she pulls away her hands, covered in blood. Jesse's eyes widen, as he realises what's happening. Petra collapses to the ground, trembling as she coughed uncontrollably, stealing her oxygen. "Hope you know the way home." Jesse says, panicked as he picked up Petra, an unconscious form of despair, and followed Lukas, running through the forest. Lukas took out his map, fumbling with it as he desperately opened it up. "We're lost."

Jesse and Lukas sat facing each other, quietly talking to each other, careful not to wake up Petra. She was a little further in the cave, resting. "What are we going to do?" Jesse asks. Lukas takes out the map, opening it up and pressing down on it to smooth out the wrinkles. He marks a spot with a pencil. "That's about 10 miles from the temple. From there, you have to cross a river, climb a freaking mountain, and go through a desert." He says. "We're toast." He mutters, snapping the pencil in half. "There's one other option." Jesse says, quietly. "It could mean certain death, but.. The nether." He continues. "What? Are you crazy?" Lukas asks. "No, traveling one mile there is like traveling 10 miles here. We'd just need a lot of material to craft the portal." Jesse says, rummaging through the chest of their items. "We have enough obsidian." Jesse says, laying it all out on the floor. "But what if Petra isn't up to it?" Lukas debates, desperately trying to get out of this. "We have no other choice, unless you want her to die. We can't afford that." Jesse says, grimly. "Ok, let's get this show on the road."
