The thunder boomed a deafening tone, rain violently splashing down everywhere. Jesse ran his fingers through his disheveled hair, which was soaked. "I've been waiting for you.." A voice said, and right there and then, Jesse knew it was Cassie. "Come on, Cassie. It doesn't have to be this way." Jesse said, heart racing as he gripped his sword, hands clenched in fists in anticipation of an attack. "You destroyed me. Took the only thing I ever wanted in life." Cassie said, showing her face. "You don't scare me, Cassandra." Jesse said, knowing how much she hated her full name. Cassie grinned slyly, raising her sword. "So let it be." She said, grinning as she swung her sword at Jesse. He barely avoided it, stumbling backwards since he was not expecting it. Jesse takes out his sword, immediately raising it to block Cassie's sword. Their swords were held against each other, and Jesse raised his knee to Cassie's stomach, making her stumble backwards, clutching her stomach. She grabs an ender pearl from her belt, throwing it like a frisbee, instantly teleporting away. "Cheater!" Jesse hissed, charging towards her with his sword. At the last moment, she ducked, avoiding his sword. It was then that Jesse knew this wouldn't be an easy battle. "Petra!" He yelled, longing for his friend to assist him in battle. Petra was near, near enough to hear Jesse. "Jesse? I'm coming...!" Petra said, following the direction of Jesse's voice. Cassie noticed Jesse had let his guard down, even if it was only for a moment. Cassie had slammed her sword into jesse's head, the effect being instantaneous. Jesse screamed in agony, fighting unconsciousness as he stumbled to the ground, blood running down the side of his head, seeping out of him. Must. Get. Up. Gritting his teeth, jesse forced himself upwards, the world making another alarming shift. He swung his sword at Cassie, his sword cutting into the side of her face. She had barely flinched, despite the blood spilling out of her. She looked around, taking in their surroundings. They were on a raised area, very much like a hill. A grin spread across her face as she rushed forwards at jesse with her sword, expecting him to fight back. Jesse raised his sword against hers, the metal of his sword clanging loudly. To his surprise, Cassie grabbed his shoulders, violently shoving him to the floor, causing him to tumble off the area they were on. She watched as he tumbled down the mountain, thinking he could never survive it. When he hit the bottom, he forced himself to get up, now with only one goal: Kill Cassie. Around then, Petra had reached there location. "Cassie!" Petra exclaimed, not expecting to see her. "Petra, be careful! She's strong..." Jesse said, weakly, walking over to where Cassie was. Cassie just smiled, teleporting behind Petra and shoving her to the floor. Petra let out a sharp squeal as her body collided with the wet ground, landing hard. Jesse grabbed Cassie in a headlock, cutting off her oxygen. "Give me one reason...One reason why I shouldn't kill you here and now." Jesse said. Cassie scowled. "You...took everything from me." She said, then discreetly groped an ender pearl, sliding it away, teleporting out of Jesse's grip. Jesse realized what had happened a second too late, Cassie had sliced her sword in Jesse's side, blood spilling out of him. He clutched his side, pressing his hand down on the wound. He grimaced, taking his sword out. One false move and you're dead. Without hesitation, he plunged his sword into Cassie's chest, and she fell backwards, dead before she even hit the ground. Petra immediately got up, rushing over to Jesse. "She's dead.." Petra said, tugging at jesse's arm. "Come on, Jesse!" She said. Jesse just stood there, in denial. Sure, she wasn't good from the start. But she didn't deserve to die. "Jesse, you're going to bleed to death if we don't go home. Now." Petra pleaded. She took off her bandana, tying it around Jesse's side, like a tourniquet. Jesse whimpered, wishing for the unbearable pain to go away. He stood there, trembling hard, from fear and from the frigid temperature the rain had caused. After a moment, he broke the silence. "I...I don't think I can walk..." he muttered, quietly. Petra saw him tumble down the hill, knowing he could've easily broken his leg. "We're not giving up." Petra said, picking up Jesse in her arms. "Petra..I don't want to die..."

"Lukas! Open up, now!" Petra yelled, arm wrapped around Jesse's waist, preventing him from collapsing. "What's the password?" Lukas asked, grinning through the peephole. Petra let out a frustrated groan, then kicks the door, hard, causing it to fly open. "Petra! Did you just kick my door down?!" Lukas asked, exasperated, then averts his gaze to Jesse. Instantly, his smile vanishes. Jesse was deathly pale, tears in his eyes, dried blood on his head and shoulder. "Oh my god...What happened?" Lukas asked, taking jesse out of Petra's arms. "Cassie." Petra said, quietly, soaking up the warmth of Lukas's petite home. Lukas went to get a towel, tossing it at Petra. "Dry yourself off. I'm going to...uh...make sure he's still alive." Lukas said, leading a half awake jesse to the guest bedroom. He placed Jesse on the bed, draping a blanket around him. "Jesse? Are you awake?" Lukas asked, brushing a wet strand of Jesse's hair behind his ear. "I don't know...." Jesse mumbles, clutching his side. "
