Kind of inspired by the whole concept of supernatural, book 2, "The darkness within" Which....probably won't be out for a bit since I still have to finish the first book but hey, we're getting there. Anyway, I probably just spoiled the fact that Jesse may or may not turn into an angel....
Let's just say, it's going to be interesting to say the least.
He sat down on his bed.
Something wasn't right.
He felt
Odd.
Peculiar.
He made his way to the mirror.
Seeing his own emerald eyes staring back at him.
A pair of wings were resting at his shoulders.
Pale white.
They looked as if they were
Delicately crafted
Each and every part
Was meticulously sculpted
By an artist
They were the definition of flawless.
He was the definiton of flawless.
Not a single scar remained on his body.
Except
One small scar.
Engraved on his neck.
It was shaped like a halo.
He'd always thought of it as a lucky coincidence.
Or was it destiny?
That scar, he'd earned
In war
With the demons.
His finger gently touched the scar.
The skin around it was smooth.
He spread his wings.
Delicate as a feather.
Soft
And
Silky.
He watched in awe as they fluttered slightly
Like leaves
Swaying gently
On a tree
In autunm.
A halo rested over his head
Emitting a soft, white glow
His cheeks were a shade of rosy red
His face was almost
Glowing.
He shifted his shoulders slightly.
Wrapped his wings around his body.
He was
Enveloped in warmth.
Goosebumps prickled his skin
As his soft
And delicate
And silky
Wings
Brushed against his skin.
He was not a human.
Nor an animal.
Not like any devil he'd seen...
He
Was
An
Angel.
Fallen
Out
Of
Heaven.
Not a single
Bruise
or cut
From falling
Dusk began to
Creep up.
As the room got
Darker
And
Darker
He glowed
Like the sun
Except...
Brighter. Shinier.
He was an ungodly being.
A creation of god.
A
Beautiful
Creature.
