"Now, what is your story?" you asked the wolf man.

"Well, if you couldn't tell earlier, I am Mingi's brother. We are twins, fraternal obviously. He decided to leave the pack, and so did I. I didn't want to be the alpha of a pack like my father's. He is the leader of the largest pack in South Korea. It is like being a king; I didn't want to be a king; however, when Mingi left, because he was supposed to take over the pack, I was to be the heir. So what did I do? I ran." he clasped his hands together, "Then I made my own pack. There is power in numbers. Lone wolves always end up dead. No matter what. We all need a pack." he looked over to you wanting to know you understood.

It made sense to you. Just like werewolves, vampires had packs too. They have their covens. You were part of one. You would be clueless without them.

"I get it. I wouldn't know what I would do without my coven." you said looking out over the cliff side. 

"How is Mingi doing? I haven't seen him in years, and I do worry about him." he asked you. His words were full of concern and care.

"Mingi is doing fine. I haven't made it easy on him." you told the man.

"How is that?" he asked hugging his knees to his chest.

"Me being sweet tempted him a little too much, but he has changed. He is very kind, and he actually helped me through some stuff." you said placing a hand on Shownu's knee.

No. Small tingles vibrated through your hand that rested on his knee. No.

You ripped your hand away, "I think I need to go." you got to your feet.

"No, don't go." he reached up and grabbed your wrist. Electric. You tore your hand from his grasp.

"No, I have to go, right now." you were freaking out. This can't be. It can't.

He climbed to his feet, "What happened?" he grabbed your forearm. Sparks. No.

Your eyes turned red, "Please, I need to leave." you begged, "I don't want to hurt you."

Your stomach burned. It was hotter than before. It crawled up your throat causing you to cough and gag. Your eyes began to burn. The pain was unbearable. You let out a blood curtailing scream. Shownu was trying to talk to you but everything hurt too much you couldn't listen.

You opened your mouth. The same black boiling liquid spilling from your mouth. Flames followed behind it. Your skin burned. This was different than the other times. This was stronger. This was drastically stronger than the rest.

The vomiting stopped, and you fell to your knees.

"What do I do?" Shownu was panicking, "What do I do?!"

Your body started shaking, "Help me" you whispered. You fell completely to the ground. You shook not being able to control any parts of your body. You heard a single long howl. Multiple other howls responded.

Your body went still and cold. You lied paralyzed in your current position. Shownu flipped you onto your back, "I will help you. I promise."

You heard something run up beside you, "Wonho, put her on my back."

"What is going on?" you heard the unseen person say.

"Just do what I say!" yelled Shownu. All you could see was the sky. The stars seemed to be getting closer and closer. Soon, you felt like you could reach out and touch them. You felt yourself being lifted the face of the unknown man came into view. The man had thin eyes and a heart shaped mouth. You noticed his ears more than anything.

He lied you over something that felt like a warm fuzzy carpet: Shownu. The stars became blurs and and the trees above flew by. Then you felt a sharp stab in your back. Then a stab in your stomach. You let out a cry. Your vision flashed red. Then your world was sideways. Your body went flying. Your body crashed into a tree. You landed hard on your stomach.

You looked up to see a giant man standing over the black wolf. The tall man was breathing so heavily that his shoulders moved with each breath. He walked over to the fallen wolf. Shownu looked over at you. His body landed on a tree just like yours, but he looked more injured.

"Yunho." you whispered. You couldn't be any louder.

"Stop, please." it was only a whisper.

He kicked at the wolf. Shownu stood and snapped at the vampire, but Yunho tackled him to the ground.

"Yunho, stop." you whispered again. He was going to kill him.

Do something.

You slowly crawled to your feet. Yunho was looming over the now man. His eyes glowed yellow and all his teeth were sharp fangs. Yunho had his hand around his throat.

"Stop" it came out a little louder. You took a step but stumbled falling to your knees.

HE IS GOING TO DIE!

The fire grew. You felt weak and small, but you couldn't let this happen. You pushed through the pain fueling the fire with your fear with your rage. Your skin began to burn; your back began to scream. Your eyes burned so bright you felt flames erupt from your sockets. 

Yunho raised his hand in the air; his claws were extended. He was going to kill him like how you died. At the claws of a monster. Your back screamed and your heart raced. You looked down at your hands that glowed a deep red then flames formed in your palms.

Then you felt something rip from your back, soon the entire forest was illuminated by a fiery glow, "Yunho" you growled. Your voice was so low; you couldn't even recognize it.

Yunho turned seeing you. He stopped.

"Let him go." 

The large vampire released his grip on the wolf man. He stood turning fully to you. Shownu backed away. He also stared at you in awe. 

You fell. You used all you had. You held no more. The fire left in the blink of an eye. You were instantly cold. You fell to the ground. You were so exhausted; you could barely keep your eyes open.

Yunho appeared in front of you, "Please, stop." you whispered.

You went cold. You went numb. It went black.
