Blind

"Jooheon...his name is Jooheon. He hasn't awakened either." you heard a voice. A hand stroked your hair. It's light touch sent small shocks through your scalp.

"Oh, well, I'm sorry to hear that." you heard Yunho. You knew his voice anywhere.

"He is strong. She is strong. They will be fine." you realized who the voice was that petted your hair: Shownu. He was talking about you. You were surprised that Yunho and Shownu were in the same room and weren't killing each other.

There was a small moment of silence, "Okay, I think it's a good time for you to go." Yunho said. You had a feeling that it wouldn't last long.

You heard Shownu sigh; he didn't want to leave yet, "Well, thank you for letting me see her." You felt something soft press against the back of your head. It send a bolt of energy through your body.

You felt the bed lift and heard footsteps, "Anytime." you heard Yunho say. 

You heard the door knob turn, "Yunho, take better care of her. I won't let her get hurt because of your blindness." the door shut.

You lied there motionless, but you could feel the tension in the air. You heard what you thought was a chair shift and feet stomping to the door. You felt your stomach twist with anger. You knew it was coming from Yunho.

Your eyes shot open and your hand shot out meeting Yunho's wrist, "Don't". He stopped and looked down at you, "Please" you whispered. Your hand fell, and you felt weak and out of breath. Your back felt sore and stiff.

"Y/n." Yunho stopped what he was doing and crouched next to the bed. He wiped the hair out of your eyes, "Did you hear all of that?" he said in a soft voice.

"Not all." you whispered, "Jooheon isn't awake yet."

"Well, neither were you until a few moments ago." he smiled, but you could see his eyes watering up, "I missed you."

"I'm sorry." you whispered, "Please, don't cry." your lifted your hand and touched his cheek.

"I can't help it." he laughed as a tear fell down his cheek, "I'm the sorry one; I should have listened. I was just... blind." he looked down at the ground.

You put your hand under his chin and lifted his face, so that he looked you in the eye, "You were just trying to keep me safe; I was the blind one." you whispered.

He leaned in and kissed your forehead, "You want anything?" he smiled.

"Can I stand up?" you said.

"Yeah, let me help you." he said. He swung your legs around allowing your knees to rest on the ground. You looked down. You wore no shirt, but a bra kept you modest. Your back muscles screamed at the subtle movement. You winced in pain as Yunho lifted you by your shoulders to your feet.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I am just sore." you said leaning against him for support. You looked up at his face that looked down on yours. A smile spread across your face then his. He leaned down and pecked your lips.

"I love you." he whispered.

"I love you, too."

You took a few steps trying to stabilize yourself, but you were too weak. Yunho grabbed your waist, "I got you." You felt the light tingles that ran from his hands up your back. It numbed your muscles in an intoxicating way. You let out a sigh of relief. The bond was powerful.

You leaned onto Yunho's shoulder as he walked you to the door opening it for you. You stepped out with the help of Yunho. The hallway was empty, but you heard faint voices coming from the living room. 

"Y/n, said this was Bangtan, but why? Why would they do this?" you recognized Yeosang's voice.

"I don't know. I thought they had lost interest. They must see some purpose for her." Hong Joong's voice followed Yeosangs'.

"What they did, cannot go without retaliation." you heard Mingi's voice.

"I second that." then Shownus'.

"Wait, do we even know how they escaped. They looked far too weak to have broken out by themselves." San said.

"He has a point." Wonho seconded the young vampire.

"We will have to wait until one of them rises." Hong Joong said. 

At this point, you and Yunho were standing in front of the upstairs banister looking over the living room. "She can tell you." Yunho's voice boomed over the others. All the men looked up at the two of you. They all had different reactions. Some where shocked while others were excited by your consciousness. 

Your eyes panned over the faces, but your eyes instantly connected with Shownu. His face was calm; he gave you a soft nod like a parent congratulating their child from a distance. You tore your eyes away and looked up at Yunho. He was eyeing the alpha with toxic eyes. You nudged him drawing his attention from the wolf.

"Don't be like that." you whispered.

"I can't help it." he lowered his eyes. The two of you started down the staircase before joining the others on the couch. You sat next to San who grabbed your hand and gave it a quick squeeze, "I was so worried." he said with a sorrowful voice.

"You don't have to worry about me." you ruffled the vampires hair, "I am stronger than I look." you smiled at him.

"Yeah, she is." Shownu spoke up. You looked at him as he gave you a powerful look. You felt naked under his gaze. Yunho felt your uncomfortableness. He shifted his body blocking you from the gawking wolf.

"It is good seeing you awake." Hong Joong interjected.

"It's good being awake." you replied.

"If you don't mind the urgency, I would just ask you, but I would like to see what happened." He held out his hand. You reached out, and placed your hand in his. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath.

You were suddenly taken back to the day in Japan in the alley. Then you crawling on the sidewalk. Jooheon transforming in front of your eyes; then you arriving in Busan. Flashes of Taehyung over Jooheon then the whip flying through the air. Everything came flashing back.

You opened your eyes, and Hong Joong took his hand from yours.

"What did you see?" Mingi asked leaning forward on his elbows.

"This just got more confusing than before." Hong Joong leaned back with his brow furrowed. 

"How?" Shownu leaned forward.

"I need some time to think." Hong Joong quickly stood up and headed to his office. Mingi followed close behind him.

"Well, that was odd." Wonho said leaning back and letting out a sigh. 

You looked up at Yunho with big eyes, "What do I do now?" you wanted to cry.

"Nothing. You don't have to do anything." he wrapped his arms around your shoulders being careful to avoid your back.

Your mind was spinning. It was searching for answers that you knew that would never be answered. 

Jooheon.

"I want to see Jooheon." you pushed away from Yunho.

"Who?" he said.

"Jooheon." you turned to Shownu, "I need to see, Jooheon." you said with an urgency in your voice.

Shownu got to his feet; he held out his hand for yours, "I will take you to him."
