You smelled him. His natural smell of manly musk with a hint of sweat that gave him a savory tang. Your nose rubbed up against his cotton shirt. His heavy arms held you close to him, but you snuggled in closer.

"Yunho." you whispered half awake.

"Yes, babe?" you heard his soft rasp.

"I'm tired." you whispered; your last word coming out more as a breath.

"I know; you can sleep as long as you want." you felt something soft press against your forehead. Your eyes remained closed, and you tilted your head up. You felt something press against your lips. You cracked your eyes seeing Yunho's closed eyes millimeters from yours. It made you smile.

"I love you." he whispered pulling away from you opening his eyes.

"I love you, too." you leaned in giving him a quick peck. You looked up at his large brown eyes. He let out a large toothy smiles that made his cheeks nearly meeting his eyes. 

You lied your cheek back onto his chest, "How long was I asleep?"

"Three days."

"What?!" you sat up abruptly, "Three days?"

He sat up next to you, "Yeah, you used a lot of energy."

"I wha-" you remembered everything, "You were going to kill him." you said sheepishly. You looked down to the blankets.

"He was hurting you. What was I supposed to do?" he said tenderly turning your face back to his.

"No, I was hurting myself. He never touched me." you said reassuringly holding his hand, "I got sick and started screaming. Please, believe me."

"How did you end up out there?" he said taking his hand from yours.

You paused and looked at the blankets, "I went with him."

"What?!" Yunho yelled throwing his hands in the air.

"Don't yell at me please." you started to cry, "I'm tired of the yelling. I went with him because I was tired of everyone treating me like a science experiment. Before you and Mingi showed up, he was very nice; you ruined it, and now someone I consider a friend will probably never talk to me again because you tried to kill him." Your voice slowly raised until you were also yelling.

"He could have killed you!" Yunho yelled back.

"Good, at least I would be free! Free to do as I please. Free to meet people and make friends. Because whenever I try to, you get jealous and ruin everything!"

The door of the bedroom flew open, and a frightened San came running in the room, "You two please stop. Just love each other and stop fighting." his voice sounded desperate like he was begging.

"San, butt out." Yunho hissed.

"Hey, don't talk to him like that. Maybe, you can talk to me like that, but you will not treat him like that." you stood up standing your ground.

"Y/n, stop this high and mighty act." Yunho said bitterly.

"So being independent is being high and mighty? Okay, well then you can make out with yourself from now on." you walked past him and into the hall. San followed close behind you. Mingi was leaning on the wall outside the door, "Trouble in paradise?" he teased.

You smacked his arm, "Shut up." You walked past him and down the stair to the kitchen.

I'm so thirsty. Why?

You got to the sink grabbing a glass from a cabinet; you were about to fill it when you heard a knock at the door. Without thinking you approached the door opening it. Shownu's face was smiling down on you. You froze in your tracks, "Run." you slammed the door.

"Who was it?" you heard Hong Joong yell from up stairs.

"Um, no one was there. Must have been my imagination." you yelled up to him. Then another knock came, but this time louder.

"I don't think that's my imagination." then in a second Hong Joong was beside you, "Move aside." you stepped away from the door, and he opened it.

"Shownu, this is a surprise." Hong Joong said looking up at the wolf man.

"Well, we came to offer a treaty." he said holding a paper out to Hong Joong.

"A treaty? What for?" said Hong Joong taking the paper.

"Vampires and wolves have been fighting for years; I would like to change that, so my pack and I offer you peace." he said in a business man tone.

"Why so all of a sudden?" Hong Joong stared up suspiciously at the man.

Shownu glanced up at you. It was quick and almost unnoticeable, but you noticed, "I have had a change of heart. I want to ensure the safety of my family, so let us insure the safety of yours. We vow to keep your land and people safe." he said bowing to the vampire, "That is our offer."

You peeked around Shownu seeing six other men standing in the driveway in a neat line. Hong Joong looked the man up and down, "Let's talk in my office. Your pack is welcome to come inside if they please." Hong Joong turned leading the wolf man to the office. He gave a low whistle and the men filed into the house.

The men awkwardly stood in a huddle inside the home. You also stood there awkwardly staring at the ground, "Um, you can take a seat." you motioned to the couch. The men migrated to the couch.

"Thank you." said one of the men; you recognized his voice. You looked at his face again realizing that it was the man that helped you onto Shownu's back: Wonho.

"No, thank you." you gave him a small bow. He smiled a little. Then you heard a yell from upstairs, "What is that awful smell!" it was Yunho. You took a deep breath and shook your head.

Then Yunho appeared in the kitchen; he glanced over seeing you standing in front of a bunch of wolves. Next, he was in front of you guarding you with his body, "What are you doing here?" he growled.

"Your leader invited us inside." said Wonho calmly.

"Lies." Yunho hissed, "You just want to get her. She's mine!" he growled.

"What is your problem?" Wonho stood up eyeing the angry vampire.

"You and your pack are my problem." he growled, "How about this time, I give you a head start."

"That won't be necessary." you heard Hong Joong voice coming from the stairs.

"What? Why?" Yunho whined.

"Because we are officially allies." he clapped his hands together. Shownu followed behind him as they descended the stairs. You felt Yunho's body tense at the sight of him. You put your hand on his arm, "No"

"What is it with you and this guy? What if he is like Jungkook?" Yunho hissed in your mind.

"He isn't. Trust me."

"Why should I? You have running off putting yourself in danger. Why would I trust you?"

"Because we are mates." you thought calmly. The line went silent.

"Fine" he shook your hand off and walked to the kitchen. Shownu came to the living room joining his men.

"Y/n." he bowed.

"Shownu." you bowed back. You could see Yunho over his bent shoulders rolling his eyes at you. "I am glad to hear that you have made an alliance with my coven." you said to the man.

"Yes, so am I. Well, maybe we will be working closely." he grabbed your hand giving it a small peck, "Let's go boys." His touch sending soft vibrations up your arm. Him and his men walked the door, "Oh, Yunho," Yunho turned to the wolf man, "You take care of her... she is something special." Then he was gone.
