Yunho's POV

"Where did she go!?!?! What did you do to her?!?!?" you balled up Mingi's shirt in your fists, "I know you had something to do with this."

"I have no idea what you are talking about." Mingi said pushing you off of him.

"I can't find her anywhere. What did you do?" you pushed Mingi hard.

"I told you; I have no idea what you are talking about." he pushed you back harder.

"LIAR!" you yelled slamming into him sending both of your rolling across the floor. You landed on your back and Mingi stood over you. Pinning you down to the ground.

"You need to remember who is stronger here before you start picking a

 fight." Mingi hissed backing away from you, "And I don't know where she is." he stuck his hand down trying to help you up. 

You shooed his hand away, "I know you're lying." you stood up brushing yourself off, "Where is Hong Joong?"

"I'm up here, Yunho." you looked up from the living room seeing Hong Joong leaning over the upstairs banister, "Let's go for a walk." You watched him walk down the stairs and to the door.

You followed him out onto the gravel driveway, "Where is she?" you whispered desperately to the man. You could here the tears in your voice.

"She is gone Yunho." Hong Joong said continuing to walk through the trees.

"You don't know that." you sobbed.

"She left by her own accord. I saw it with my own eyes."

"You what?" you stopped and grabbed his shoulder causing him to jerk and look in your direction.

"She is a bird, Yunho. She needs to learn how to fly." he said in a calm voice.

"How could you do this to me?" you were on your knees now practically begging.

"Yunho, how could you do that to her?"

His words cut you like a knife. You were now crying hysterically. I couldn't contain your emotions anymore. It felt like everything inside of you was shattering. Nothing hurt this bad. Not even the scars on your back.

"I did it because I love her." you cried. Your leader said nothing. He patted your back as you sobbed. Your body shook uncontrollably.

"Sometimes when you love someone, you have to let them go."

"It's easy to say it, but it's harder when you have to do it." you cried. You slowed your breathing, and used your mind, "Do you think she went to him?"

"Who?" your leader asked.

"Shownu." you said coldly, "We are mates. Why would she choose him?"

"She didn't go to Shownu."

"How do you know?" you snapped. You stood up and through your arms around dramatically.

"She didn't want Shownu. I saw it. You weren't always there. I saw her memories." he paused, "She only ever wanted you."

"Then why did she leave?"

"Because all you wanted was her. The only difference is that she had something else to fight for. You fought for her, while she fought for herself." he said rubbing your shoulder, "I can show you."

"Please." you held out your hand.

Your leader grabbed your hand. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath.

"Now, what is your story?" you heard her voice like it was yours. You saw through her eyes. You felt her emotions. You saw her surroundings. She was sitting on a cliff side looking over the woods. It was night. It was that night. You heard a male voice start to speak. It was Shownu.

He was calm and friendly. Usually, the wolves were vicious, and never took mercy. This was different. He didn't seem threatening or even angry. Everything was calm.

"No matter what. We all need a pack." he finished. He looked at you waiting for you to say something. She felt sympathetic. She knew what he felt. She knew what it felt to be alone, but she also knew what it felt like to find a family and to find love.

"I get it. I wouldn't know what I would do without my coven." she said

There was a short moment of silence, "How is Mingi doing? I haven't seen him in years, and I do worry about him."

"Mingi is doing fine. I haven't made it easy on him."

"How is that?" Shownu asked.

"Me being sweet tempted him a little too much, but he has changed. He is very kind, and he actually helped me through some stuff." You knew what she was talking about. That was the day that you first fought. Mingi was in the room when you stormed in. He helped her, and you ruined it.

She placed her hand on his knee. No, that couldn't be. You felt it. She felt it. The same electric feeling that ran through your skin when she touched you. It couldn't be right.

"I think I need to go." she said. She got up from the ground.

"No, don't go." he grabbed her wrist, and you felt the same shock of electricity. They were mates. Just like she was yours. They had a bond, but it scared her. You felt her fear; she knew it wasn't right. Her mind went straight to you. She knew she had to leave.

"No, I have to go, right now." she was panicking.

Shownu got up and grabbed her arm, "What happened?" She left the shocks again. 

Everything was turning red, "Please, I need to leave." she was backing up slowly, "I don't want to hurt you." You felt a stomach burning. It was a horrible pain. It crawled up your throat causing you to cough and gag. Your eyes began to burn. The pain was unbearable. She let out a blood curtailing scream.

Black liquid and flames poured from her mouth. It burned everywhere. She stopped and fell to the ground. You felt the exhaustion, and the stillness. Her mind was going crazy.

"What do I do?" Shownu was panicking, "What do I do?!"

Her body started to convulse, "Help me" she whispered. There was a single howl. You remembered it very distinctly. That is what you heard that night. Everything was quiet. Then there was Wonho. You recognized his face.

Then you were flying. You were on a warm soft surface. It was Shownu. He was now a wolf. He was taking her to the house. That was when you tackled him. That was when you almost killed him.

He is going to kill him like how you died. At the claws of a monster.

You heard her thoughts. She saw you as a monster. All you were trying to do was save her, and keep her safe. You were a monster.

You came back to reality. You were coughing and gasping for air.

"It's a hard pill to swallow." Hong Joong said pulling back his hand.

"They were mates." you sighed, "Yet, she wanted me, and I was the jealous one." you shook your head.

"It's okay, Yunho. You didn't know."

"No, she was right. I am a monster. Like Jungkook. Like everyone that has ever let her down, and I let her down."
