"Can you two stop arguing," you sighed leaning back against the tree. Jungkook had never formally met a werewolf before so of course he was challenging him to a duel, and Jooheon being the sensible one was trying to deny him but to no avail.

"Are you too scared?" Jungkook laughed.

"No, I am just not stupid and know that we have bigger things to worry about," Jooheon said also leaning back on the tree. Your shoulders touched ever so slightly. His closeness made you feel warm inside.

"I guess he is my mate after all," you thought to yourself. You stared out over the lake that had just appeared in your dream world. The water was still, and the amber sky made the water appear as if it was pure gold. Something about it seemed so tempting like you just wanted to touch it. You were tired of the constant bickering, so you got up from under the tree, dusting yourself off.

The boys didn't notice. You slowly made your way to the water's edge. Something seemed to be leading you, guiding you toward the honey-like water. You were almost to the water when you heard a shout from the top of the hill, "Don't touch the water!" You turned around to see Jooheon sprinting down the hill toward you.

He reached you in seconds, wrapping himself around you, holding your face to his chest, "Don't go in the water," he said in a softer tone. You could hear his heart through his chest. His heart was racing and you knew it wasn't from him running.

"Why not?" you said when he let go of you.

"Just don't, okay?" he said, looking at you with soft, puppy eyes. At this point, Jungkook had joined the two of you at the water.

"No," you said giving him a stern look, "I need to know why,"

He looked around hesitantly, "I had a dream," he whispered.

"Yes, I know, but why can't we get in the water?" you asked in an impatient tone.

"Because you drown!" he blurted out, "and fly," he raised his hands into the air in a dramatic way.

"Fly?" Jungkook said in a confused voice. He was so clueless. He had been gone for so long; you kind of felt bad for him.

"Drown?" you had seen that before. Your mother pulling under the water until you couldn't hold your breath any longer than pushing from a cliff and saying a single word, "Fly" you whispered.

"What did you say?" Jooheon said, leaning in closer to you. You had become lost in thought. Then an epiphany.

"Jungkook, what was your dream about," you asked the young vampire.

"What?" he said.

"Your dream. You had a dream; what happened?" you said in a fast tone.

"It was so long ago, I don't think I c-" he started rubbing the back of his head.

"No," you said in an assertive voice, "tell me all you can remember,"

"You were there dead... and alive. You told me it wasn't my fault... that you died," he said in an ashamed voice. You knew the dream. The one in the burning field. He didn't mean to hurt you. He didn't mean to kill you. Your hand went up by instinct, running your fingers over the scars. You always carried his mark. They were always there, reminding him of what he had done.

"Anything else?" you pried.

He closed his eyes, thinking very hard, "Oh yeah, right before I woke up, you told me to go home, and that is why I returned to Seoul."

"Go home," you whispered, "Why did I tell you that?"

"I don't know," he shrugged, "Maybe because it was time for you to start transitioning. That is when all this started happening,"

"The drowning, the flying, the going home, does it mean something?" you thought to yourself. You turned, looking out over the water. Something caught your eye. Something reflected off the water. It was tiny, but you hadn't noticed it before. You looked up into the sky. A single star shined in the sea of gold.

"Mom?" you whispered. It all clicked. You turned to the boys who were staring at you like some sort of specimen, "I figured it out," you said.

"This is where it happens," you said, spreading your arms around you.

"What happens?" Jungkook said, making a worried face to Jooheon.

"The transition," you said, "It all makes sense,"

"How?" Jooheon said.

"Hitman said I needed all my mates together, and that I needed something from each one," you paused, making sure the boys were listening.

"Go on," said Jungkook.

"Jungkook, I needed a bite. A bite from a vampire. Jooheon, I needed a bite. A bite from a werewolf. I needed you, and in doing so, it brought us here. You both have completed your part of the transition," they both looked at each other, and all at once, you could see light bulbs go off.

"Ohhhhh," they both said.

"That makes so much sense now," Jungkook said, grabbing his head with both hands

"Then what about Yunho and Shownu? Do you have to kill them as well?" Jooheon said turning to you with sad eyes.

You hadn't dreamed of them yet... YET. You aren't done yet. "I have to get back!" you said.

Both the boys jumped at your urgentness, "Back?" Jooheon asked.

"Yes, I'm not done yet. Yunho and Shownu haven't finished their part of the transition. This isn't over. You said it yourself," you pointed at Jungkook, "Go home. I have to go home." you turned back to the water. You knew what you had to do.

"Yeah, that would be nice, but how are we supposed to go home if we are dead?" Jungkook said.

"Not you. Me. I am a phoenix. The bird of resurrection," you looked over your shoulder at them, "You said it yourself. Drown. Fly. Go home. It's that simple,"

"No it's not," they protested.

"Trust me," you looked at the two boys, "Please,"

They both looked at you and then to each other. Jooheon was the last to say something, "If we say no, are you still going to do it?"

"Yes," you said, staring right into his eyes.

They both looked at each other again, "We trust you," they said at once. Jooheon wrapped his arms around you in a tight hug. You looked up into his face. His eyes were full of worry and fear.

"Don't worry about me," you whispered.

"It's kind of hard not to," he said with a worried smile; he leaned down and kissed your forehead, "Please come back for us," his eyes darted to Jungkook, "Well, at least me," he laughed.

"I will always come back for you, my Honey," you pushed yourself away from Jooheon and faced the water. You knew what you had to do. You took your first step, submerging your foot in the warm liquid. In moments, you were chest-deep. You swam to where to star met the water. You turned back to the boys. They both gave you a small wave.

You looked up to the single star, "Take me home, Mom," Then you felt something wrap around your leg, pulling you quickly into the deep water. You were soon surrounded by complete blackness. You could feel your lungs start to burn.

"Drown. Fly. Go home." you kept repeating in your head. The pressure became too much, and your lungs begged for oxygen. You mouth flew open, and the cold liquid filled your burning lungs. You could feel yourself becoming heavy. Your brain became fuzzy.

"Drown. Fly. Go home. Drown. Fly. Go home. Drown-"

Your eyes shot open, and your body shot forward, "Fly,"
