"Run!" Shownu yelled, sprinting from the doorway. Seconds later, the door burst from its hinges. Flames engulfed the doorway of the small wooden cabin. You froze as the others fled around you.
"Y/n, come on!" Shownu yelled.
"Wait!" you yelled back.
You felt a hand wrap around your wrist, "He won't be able to stop himself; he will tear you apart!" Shownu ripped you from where your feet had grown roots. You heard a monstrous roar from inside the cabin that sent chills through your body. Shownu dragged you behind him. He started stripping as he ran through the woods until he was completely naked. Your cheeks became hot and red.
Snap out of it!
He turned his head, letting out a high-pitched whistle. You suddenly heard screams of pain all around you. Moments later, howls responded. "When I say jump, jump," he yelled over his shoulder as he continued to pull you through the trees; your large wings hitting everything around you.
He started to pick up speed then, "Jump!" You both jumped except his once naked body became coated with thick black fur. When you landed down on his back, he was in full form. You wrapped your arms around his neck. You could hear the barking and huffing of the other wolf coming up behind you.
You glanced over your shoulder. The forest was illuminated by a ball of flames.
What have I done?
Shownu broke through the trees into an open field. Then five other wolves burst through the trees, following behind you and Shownu. The pack dashed over the land creating distance between them and the trees. You turned your head back to the forest. Jooheon burst through the trees. His fur lit with golden flames; his eyes glowed a vibrant yellow gold that only the finest of jewelers held. His tail like a sparkler swung through the air, throwing sparks in all directions. His eyes landed on you. You felt your stomach drop in that moment.
This is the next step.
You became weirdly calm as you relaxed your arms from around the werewolf's neck. Shownu's head came up, and he peered at you with his large yellow eyes. You looked into his eyes. Fear. That's all you saw.
You closed your eyes and took in a deep breath.
Be brave.
You pushed yourself off the moving wolf, launching yourself into the air. You landed hard onto the ground, but your wings wrapped around you, protecting you from the impact. The wolves stopped. They turned to you. You and Shownu made eye contact. Fear.
"Go..." you said in a calm voice, turning back to the firey wolf that charged at you like a freight train, "I have to do this," The wolves scattered. There was nothing they could do but get killed. You created this beast. You had to take it out. Like pinching out a flame it would be your fingers that would smother the raging blaze.
You spread your arms to your side; your wings followed pursuit and spread wide behind you, throwing demonic shadows across the large, sloped landscape. This caused the wolf to charge faster. You could smell the smoke and ash that resonated from his burning body.
Then, he pounced. As if time had slowed and you could feel everything around you freeze in time, you saw his feet leave the ground; his body loomed over you.
1... 2... 3...
You released your breath and like the bang from a cannon, your body slammed to the ground. Jooheon stood over you. His eyes burned with the fury of Hell. Black tar dripped from his jowls. Your arms were held to the ground by his massive claws that dug deep into the flesh of your arms, but you did not feel pain. You stared up at him. You were calm.
"Jooheon," you whispered. The wolf's eyes narrowed, and he let out a low growl. "I can help you," you whispered in a sweet voice. "... my Honey," the words came out of your mouth like sly serpents. You didn't know where they came from, but they escaped into the air of existence. The wolf let out a venomous growl. You felt his claws dig deeper into your arms, hitting bone.
He brought his head down, clamping onto your neck with his massive jaws. You felt nothing. You lost all feeling, becoming completely paralyzed, and then nothing.

Hello, my amazing readers. I have been a bad author and left y'all hanging for a very long time. I honestly feel awful about it. I was really struggling with school and my studies, but it is finally time for my winter break, so I will be writing again.
Over my hiatus, I hit 36k readers!!! THAT IS INSANE. I started this story as a way to escape my everyday life and spread my thoughts and stories with other people who had the same reading styles as me, but this is something I never expected to happen.
