Mingi's POV

"I told him to leave."

"And why did you do that?" Hong Joong said sitting on the edge of his desk. His arms were crossed over his chest.

You sighed, "Shownu, said he found his mate."

"Let me guess, y/n?" he asked.

"You got it."

Hong Joong pinched his nose and plopped in his desk chair taking in a deep breath. You sat down in the chair in front of the desk.

"What do we do?" you asked.

"I think she needs to disappear." he said in a low voice.

"What?" you said. His words shocked you.

"Not like forever, but I think she needs to get away from Yunho. I think he is holding her back." he wrapped his fingers around his chin.

You thought for a minute, "So, are you just going to release her out on the world?"

"Sort of, I will have someone watching her, but she won't know." he said, "I feel like she just needs to experience freedom; I think it will make her stronger."

"Who will watch after her? Obviously, it can't be any of us." you said leaning back in the chair.

"We will have one of the wolves do it." Hong Joong said casually.

"No way, she will know that Shownu is there."

"No, we will have one of his younger wolves do it. Someone she doesn't know well." he said.

It made sense, "Yunho won't let her leave." you crossed your arms over your chest.

"He won't know. We won't tell him. He will just think that she ran off."

"That is smart, but he will look for her... everywhere." you said.

"We won't keep her in Korea. Maybe, Japan." he tapped his fingers on the desk.

"Japan?"

"Tokyo to be specific. It is a highly populated place, so it keeps her well hidden." he seemed to be relaxed even though we were talking about sending away apart of our coven to be watched over by a young wolf.

"When are we going to tell her?" you asked.

"First, I need you to talk to your brother. Find us a wolf. I will find her a temporary home. Then we will fill her in." he paused, "I think she will accept. She has been branching out lately. I like seeing some independence from her. It's refreshing." he gave a small smile.

You had to agree. Since the beginning, she had clung to Yunho to protect her, and to help her through everything. Now, she was discovering her strength and wandering from his protection. It was nice to see her growing confidence. 

"I will find Shownu." you got to your feet.

"Thank you, Mingi. I know family is a sensitive topic for you."

"It's not a problem. This is my family now. I would do anything to protect it, and I know this will strengthen it." you said opening the door. You walked in to the hall closing the door behind you.

Now, how do I find Shownu?

You walked out of the house and onto the gravel drive. You took in a deep breath. The familiar smell of dog filled your nose. The smell used to remind you of home, but since you changed, the smell was dirty and bitter. You remembered when you and your brother used to chase rabbits through the trees when you were only pups.
