Reunited

Your eyes flew open. You coughed violently, feeling the air fill your lungs. All you could see was the blurred golden sky.

"Y/N!" you kept hearing your name, but your head was so fuzzy that you couldn't distinguish the voices.

"Y/N, wake up!" you took in a deep breath and closed your eyes tightly before opening them again. Jungkook and Jooheon's faces loomed over you. Concern splashed over their faces. You sat up, looking around.

"It didn't work," Jungkook said, placing a hand on your shoulder.

 You turned toward him, "What do you mean?" you said.

"It didn't work. You almost died... again," Jooheon said. 

"What do you mean. I was there," you looked around, searching.

"How? It has only been like a few minutes. I had to go fish you out of the lake," Jooheon said. 

"No," you said.

"Yessss," he said.

You kept looking around, "Where is he," you asked.

"Who?" Jungkook asked, looking at Jooheon with a weird look.

You stood up. The three of you were along the edge of the lake, but from here you couldn't see anything. You looked up toward the tree on the hill. You started to walk toward the hill.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked as the two men followed you.

"I need high ground. I need to find him," you said, quickening your pace. 

"Who?" Jungkook went on.

"Shownu," you said.

"Wait, so you actually went back and killed Shownu?" Jooheon said.

"I was an accident," you said, remembering his eyes, feeling his claws in your stomach. 

"How did it happen?" Jungkook pushed.

"I bit him,"

"How?" Jungkook asked, "Like how did it come to that?"

"It just did," you said quietly. You could feel their eyes on your back. You crested the hill, "Do you see him?" you asked, squinting your eyes, scanning the horizon. 

Suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the swaying wheat. The ground beneath your feet bucked and popped. You and the men stumbled at the sudden movement. You caught yourself on the large tree. You watched the bolt retreated back into the sky. You looked over to the boys. Jungkook was still on his feet, but Jooheon crouched onto the ground.

"What was that?" Jungkook asked.

"It's Shownu," you whispered, looking out to where the lightning scorched the earth. A ring of charred grass encircled the man's large body. Your feet moved before your mind did, "Shownu!" you yelled out, running toward him. The others ran behind you.

You reached the wolf. He looked the way you saw him moments ago. Moments, where he wasn't dying or being possessed by the transition. His tanned skin reflected the golden skies. His white t-shirt and gray joggers were left with no imperfections. 

"Ugh, why does he get clothes?" Jooheon whined. You shot him a sharp look. He threw his hands up as if he was surendering. 

"Shownu," you kneeled down next to him, resting a hand on his chest, "Shownu, wake up." You shook his shoulders, trying to awaken him, but he didn't move. "Shownu, please," you could hear your own desperation.

His left hand twitched. It was the slightest movement, but you saw it. "Shownu," you whispered. Your hand went up lightly touching his cheek. His eyelashes began to flutter softly before he let out a tired groan. He opened his eyes slowly. His gaze rested on the twisting, golden sky. 

"Shownu," you said again, running your hand down his face. 

"Y/N?" he said in a croaky voice. His eyes slowly drifted down, landing on your face. His eyes opened wide and he seemed to shoot full of life, "Y/N!" he yelled, shooting up from the ground and pulling you on top of him into a hug.

"I'm so sorry," he cried. He reached his hand up onto the back of your head, pulling you tighter to him, "I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Shownu, it's okay," you said, "I am okay." You pushed yourself away from him, looking into his face. You could see his eyes were glassy with tears. He scanned your face, reading your emotions, "I'm fine," you reassured him.

"Ummm," you turned around. Jungkook and Jooheon stood behind you awkwardly. Jungkook held his hands behind his back whistling. Jooheon stood there, looking down on his dazed leader, "Hey, Shownu."

Shownu's eyes grew big, "Jooheon?" He stood up, approaching the other wolf, and pulling him into a deep hug, "I thought you were dead," he said.

"Well," Jooheon said with a small chuckle.

Shownu took a step back, keeping his hands rested of Jooheon's biceps, "I missed you."

"I missed you, too," Jooheon said.

Shownu swivelled his head arrived, "What is this place," he asked.

"This is an inbetween place. Usually, the dreams take place here," you said.

"The dreams," Shownu questioned.

"The shared dreams," you said, "remember..." you leaned forward opening your eyes wide, trying to remind him without saying anything in specific. The last thing you wanted Jungkook and Jooheon to know was your hot and heavy dreams about Shownu.

"....oh," he said slowly; he cheeks began to turn pink.

"What happened?" Jungkook asked.

This was the first time Shownu really noticed Jungkook, "You," he growled, narrowing his eyes on Kook. 

"Nu," you said in an asertive tone, "You will not threaten or hurt Jungkook. We have bigger things to worry about than your ego." Jungkook laughed under his breath.

Shownu turned to you; his eyes melted from fearce intimitaion to subtle defeat, "Fine."

You turned back to the other boys, "Yunho is the only one left, but we have a problem,"

"What kind of problem?" Jooheon asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yunho? What?" Shownu said.

"Shownu, I would love to tell you, but we kind of don't have time," you said, you returned your attention to Jungkook and Jooheon, "He just left. There was an argument, and now I can't feel him,"

"You lost your spark?" Jungkook asked.

"Yes," you nodded your head, "The spark is gone. He is gone."

Hello, sorry I have not updated in so long. Like I honestly feel so bad, and I always feel like I make excuses. But I have been working full time and taking college classes online, so a lot of my time has been taken from me. 

I am really thankful for my returning readers; you guys are really my inspiration.
