I'm Cold

Jooheon was lying on his stomach in the middle of the dance studio. You lied down next to him grabbing his hand. His eyes opened into small slits, "Why didn't you leave me?" he whispered in such a quiet voice you almost didn't hear him.

"Do you remember when you promised never to leave me? Well, the promise went both ways." you whispered brushing the hair out of his eyes, "Now, rest. The others are coming."

"Thank you." he squeezed your hand. You squeezed it back. He closed his eyes and instantly drifted into sleep. You stared into the mirror.

What just happened? Did Jin and Jimin just help you? Why did they help you? Was this all a trap? Hong Joong hurry.

Your mind went blank. You felt cold all over, and you couldn't move. You had never been so weak. As you lied on your side, you could taste something bitter in your mouth. As you stared at your reflection, a black tar like substance dripped from your mouth onto the floor. You watched as it dripped slowly pooling around your face, but you couldn't move.

I'm dying.

Your body began to twitch and shiver. You couldn't control your vibrations as you started foaming at the mouth. You seemed frozen even though your body moved uncontrollably. You watched yourself not knowing what to do. 

You heard loud footsteps in the hall. The door flew open. All you could see was Hong Joong's face in the mirror. His face was twisted with pure horror.

"No. No! NO!" you heard someone yell. Yunho's face appeared in front of yours. He was slim and pale like a ghost. His hand touched your shoulder and your convulsions stopped, but you still couldn't move. 

More people filled the move. The faces were not only the faces of ATEEZ but Monsta as well. You could see Shownu leaning over Jooheon. He had large tears in his eyes.

"He is alive." you said. Your voice was so quiet.

"What?" whispered Yunho.

"He is alive." you whispered again.

"He is alive? Oh..." Yunho looked over at the wolf, "Shownu, he is alive."

"He doesn't look very alive." he was crying.

"She told me. He is alive." Yunho reassured the alpha.

Yunho brought his attention back to you, "I'm going to flip you onto your stomach. I need to see your back." He placed one hand on your shoulder and another on your hip and lightly tipped you forward. 

He hand flew up to his mouth, "What happened to you?" you could hear tears in his voice.

"Bangtan." you whispered.

"Hong Joong, why isn't it healing?" Yunho cried.

"Silver." you whispered. Yunho flipped you back to your side. 

Hong Joong came over to you, "What happened?"

"Bangtan found us. It's all my fault. I never should have left." you whispered, "Please, help him first. Help Jooheon."

"Don't be silly; you are first priority." Yunho said.

"No, he needs more help than I do." you said. You grabbed Yunho's hand and gave it a weak squeeze, "Please."

Yunho lowered his head, "Hong Joong, help the wolf. I got her." Hong Joong nodded and joined Shownu.

Three little faces came into view.

"Y/n, are you okay?" asked San.

He made you smile. You missed him and the others so much. "I am doing the best I can." you smiled at the boys.

Stars started clouding your vision, "Yunho, I'm cold." you said. Your vision was starting to become blurry.

"Yunho, I can't see." you whispered.

"Stay with me! Stay with me!" Yunho started screaming, "Help her!"

You leaned your head back, and your eyes rolled back into your head.

Yunho's POV

She was so cold. She only ever twitched or let out a painful groan. You sat by the bed watching her tentatively. She has been like this for a week, and nothing changed. Every few hours, you cleaned her wounds. They weren't healing. Hong Joong said it was because they were cut with silver, and because she was so weak.

"How is she?" you looked up and Hong Joong entered the room.

"She is doing fine right now." you said rising from your chair and standing next to Hong Joong.

"That is good to hear. Maybe, you should get some air; I will have Mingi watch over her or something." he placed a hand on your shoulder.

"What if she wakes up, and I'm not here? I couldn't live with that." you said.

"She has been sleeping for a week; I think if you step out for an hour; she will still be asleep." your leader said. He did have a point, but you couldn't leave her, "Please." Hong Joong pulled you from your thoughts.

"I will stay." you said sitting back down in your chair.

Your leader took a deep breath, "Okay." he turned to leave, but he stopped right in front of the door, "Oh, I told Shownu that he could come see her."

"What?" you complained, "I don't want him near her."

"It's not your choice, Yunho. Wasn't it your selfishness that chased her away in the first place?" Hong Joong said eyeing you.

"Ugh, fine." you sighed.

"Thank you." Hong Joong gave you a small smile and left the room.

Shortly after, you heard a small knock on the door, "Come in." you said. 

The door cracked and Shownu's face peeked through the door, "Can I come in?"

"Sure, I guess." you huffed. You didn't want him here, but who was he going to hurt?

"Thank you." he said closing the door and walking to the side of the bed. You stared at his face trying to read him. His eyes drooped in sadness when he saw her. He sat on the edge of the bed. His hand reached over and touched her hair.

You felt a spike of anger rise in you, but you pushed it down.

He will be gone soon.

"Has she woken up?" his voice came from the bed.

"No, she has been asleep since we brought them back. How is your wolf?" you asked the alpha not knowing what else to say.

"Jooheon." he shot you a look over his shoulder, "His name is Jooheon. He hasn't awakened either." he looked back down to her.

"Oh, well, I'm sorry to hear that." you leaned back in the chair.

"He is strong. She is strong. They will be fine." the wolf said; he kept stroking her hair.

You wanted to push him away from her. You controlled yourself, "Okay, I think it's a good time for you to go."

The wolf let out a sigh, "Well, thank you for letting me see her." he leaned down and kissed the back of her head.

Your blood was starting to boil. The wolf stood up and approached the door.

"Anytime."
