Burning Fields

You were lying on your back staring up into the golden clouds. Your world had been dipped in thick honey that coated everything. The wind blew through the vacant field. Golden swirls danced in your peripherals. 

You turned your head, Yunho stared back at you with a blinding smile.

"I miss you, Y/N." his voice was sweet to your ears.

"I miss you too, Yunho." you said to him.

His hand reached out and stroked your cheek, "Then why did you leave me?" his voice sounded sad and broken.

"I don't know. I promise I will never leave you again." you grabbed his hand. He felt warm to the touch practically burning you.

"Please, don't leave me again." a tear fell from his eye, but the tear hit the dry field and a small fire started to burn.

"I promise." you said. The fire slowly started spreading the flames where growing around you, "Yunho, we need to leave." You tried moving away from the fire, but you couldn't move.

"This is because of you." he said in a sad voice, "I'm dying because of you."

"Yunho, I can fix this." you were crying which made the fire grow stronger.

"Everything you touch burns." Yunho's voice became raspy and rough.

"Yunho, I'm so sorry." you cried. You saw the fire crawl up his back. Tears started to fall from his face and his lips turned into a sad frown. The fire grew over his shoulders and his chest. He was burning in front of you. You could smell the burning flesh.

"This is your fault." was the last thing he said before his body burst into a pile of ash. You looked a head of you. Miles of burning fields as your once golden view had turned a hard red. Tears burned your skin as the flames climbed up your legs.

You felt a hand on your shoulder. You turned your head. Jungkook.

"Y/n."

Your eyes shot open, and your lungs breathed in the stale air around you. Your body shot up and your back screamed in pain.

"Y/n." someone was saying your name, but your head was spinning.

"Y/n, listen to me." your mind came back to you. Jin was inches from your face.

"Wah?" you couldn't think straight.

"Y/n, you need to leave now." his voice sounded urgent, "They are all asleep; you need to leave."

Is he helping me?

"Are you helping me?" you whispered.

"Y/n, this is not a time for questions. Run!" he said in a hurried voice.

You turned your head seeing Jooheon's body still lying next to yours, "I can't leave him." you said.

"He is practically dead already. Run while you still have a chance." Jin grabbed your hand pulling you to your feet. Your back burned and you let out a small cry.

"I can't leave him." you protested.

"You have to."

"No." you pulled your arm from Jin's hand, "I will not leave without him. I will die with him if I have to." you stood your ground.

Jin rolled his eyes, "Why do you have to make this so difficult?" he huffed. He looked through the open door, "Jimin, come help me." Jimin appeared at the door. He made eye contact with you but you averted your eyes immediately away. Jin looked back down at you, "Can you walk?"
