Bad eyesight

"Don't sit too close to the TV!".
"Keep your book at a distance".

"Why can't you read the sign board from here?", she asked her 9-year-old daughter after observing that something was odd.
"I don't know, mom, i just can't read from here".

She then realized what was wrong and the doctor confirmed that she did have really bad eyesight, that too since birth. The words her daughter spoke when she wore her first pair of glasses were so strange:

"Wow! I didn't know the world looked like this. Did the sign boards always had this many colours?".
