My panting and heaving was barely suppressed in the hollow silence of the alley; in whose corner I was hiding. I needed to catch my breath after running for I don't know how long. The ache in my feet was not subsiding; rather it seemed to get more and more prominent in my senses.

The yellow light-bulb dangling at the entryway of the alley was the reason behind fluttering shadows of the litter boxes and containers. I put my hands on my mouth in an attempt to stifle the noises that were betraying me. Sweat drenched my shirt as anxiety creeped up at me and my consciousness.

Then I heard it catching up with me. I saw a shadow entering the alley as it came in the way of the yellow light. I closed my eyes in desperation as if it would pull me out of the situation.

When it grabbed my shirt's collar, I let out a whimper as I opened my eyes and tried to free myself.

"Finally", sneered Regret as his sidekick; Gloom smirked at me.

They had gotten to me and now there was no escape.
