What is jealousy?

A feeling in which you want a quality/possession to come to you instead of the person who actualy owns it?

Or is it a pit hole in which once you start falling, even grabbing onto anything or everything will not save you?

Because having those things will never be enough. You will want more and more and it will blind you to an extent that when you realize your fall; you will be standing with your raised chin at the very bottom of that hole amidst the dark.
