"Stop right there, missy!", I yelled as I chased my little sister who was bubbling with giggles as she sprinted across the living room while clutching my mobile phone tightly in her small delicate hands. "Ri, I was on a phone call!".Despite my protests, Riley just kept on grinning with laughter as I chased her outside the house; in the garden. Riley put my phone to her ear and said to my best friend - with whom I was talking about the stupid assignment, "Hi Amy, I am Riley and Rhia is playing with me so call later. Bye!"
Riley's last word became a screech as I caught up with her and hauled her small body up in my arms. "Caught you!". With intensified laughter she started to wriggle in a futile attempt to get out of my grip. I teased her, "You wanted to play with me, so I will play with you" as I put Riley on the grassy ground right beside the flowerbed the two of us were growing and started tickling her. At that, the sound of her hearty chortle filled the otherwise silent backyard.
These kind of small moments with my little sister were the mainstream cause of my happiness and what I looked forward to every single day.
